What is it with Sadlier? Comes on as a substitute in games and plays really well, gets the start and is meh.

Barely plays and when he does it’s out of position.

Not sure that's justification. You could make a case for him no longer beating players for pace (due to difference between starting and coming off the bench), but when he starts he seems guilty of miss hit crosses and bad passes. It's a notable difference.

I mean he’s never played in his best position and is in every few weeks. He’s hardly got any momentum or confidence.

I suspect he wants away and can’t really blame him. Probably for the best.

I’d like to know how you can excuse Kachunga who is an insult to pub players let alone professional footballers.

Agreed - Sheehan and Kachunga aren’t up to it in there.

Not sure about that. Kacha's been behind a few times. Seems to be lack of clinical play at the top end of the pitch. If Kachunga could find that fox-in-the-box play he'd improve massively.

Sheehan's seemed ok, nothing to sing his praises, just looks disjointed. To be expected I guess given we've had 5 changes in that midfield (counting Bradley and Ming the merciless in there).

Solid but not sizzling. Glad we're up. For various reaasons Evatt has changed the entire midfield five (plus Santos) and I don't think any of that replaced quintet - all watching from the bench - will be fearing their first-choice place. I suspect we'll start to see some of them in the second half; I'd be minded to give Charles a rest if possible but I'm not sure I'd risk Baka if we're trying to sell him...

One other thing: Pompey unfailingly trying to slow us up - standing on free kicks, blocking Traf when he tries to release a throw. The memo is clearly going round the league.

I suspect a few of the players who may want away are likely looking at the result of today's match as a potential deciding factor. A chance to play at Wembley on the cards and put themselves in contention to win something must be of interest.
