Fun fact on Assal, though. All his goals and assists this season, bar one, have come whilst playing as a winger. 9 games as a second forward or 10 have yielding a solitary assist against the mighty Doncaster.

So if we really wanted to replace Dapo (natural winger forced to play a role that doesn't really suit him by a tyrannical manager) maybe he's our guy.
You're not helping...😂😂

I just watched a YouTube combination and he looked unplayable. Like a young Daniel Braaten. So for that reason….. I am out.

You're all cowards.

Sign me flair wingers for a wingerless system! At least 3!

Ah, right. He'll be this window's winger inexplicably signed by wingerless-formation-fancying Evatt then.

It's becoming a bit of tradition.

It's important to have the flexibility to play the system he will never play.

I reckon this €600k is a red herring - that's just what's listed as Dapo's value on Transfermarkt (which is a German site).

Looks like Baka to FGR is a done deal. No mention of what the fee is.

Good luck to Baka - he did a decent job for us last season and gave us a good chant. However, in Nlundulu we seem to have already signed a replacement with more upside, and ultimately Baka isn't good enough to be getting regular minutes for a promotion-chaser in this division.

All the best to Baka, gave us some great moments last season, and scored quite a few. Wish him well, except v us. :-)

Baka going makes me think Dapo isn’t. Surely wouldn’t sell two forwards in a window that would be a bit reckless. I suppose depends on who comes in.

If we bring two better forwards in how is that reckless?

I think the question comes down to better, being better immediately, fitting in. Every transfer is risky. Not guaranteed to come off.

I think that it will be interesting to see what we do.

Not sure it's more of a risk than sticking with already misfiring forwards.

They're not guaranteed to come off, but reality is, Dapo and Baka have 4 goals between them in the league and two assists...That's less than Bradley...
