Reckon Dempsey has earned a bit of praise tonight. Picked up Dion's running aswell as his own.

This is a thoroughly dedicated defensive performance on show here. Crap spectacle to watch compared to our usual games but one of those games we can look on as a hard fought three points (fingers crossed)..
I know Baka's good, but is he 5 centre backs good?

Not the biggest talking point tonight but what’s with Derek’s new “low-lying” /“deep-lying” crosses?

I know Sadlier isn’t exactly the type you need for a backs against the wall effort, but the fact he’s not been sighted at all makes me wonder whether he might be on his way.jmjhb wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 9:42 pmThey'd definitely sub themselves on ahead of Sads and JohnDave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 9:40 pmAimson coming on. Off to get two paracetamol. My head is pounding. That was awful to watch. Kachunga has some serious apologies to make.

I've aged 50 years.
What an unbelievable shift those boys put in for the second half. Chapeau

Great result from a potential disaster

Have to chuckle at the fans roaring Evatt’s song after the most minority-possession 1-0 win since Craig Noone’s goal beat Super Franky Lampard’s artificially inflated Derby

Absolutely. 100%. Second behind Bradley in the MotM stakes for me. Both tireless.
May the bridges I burn light your way

Phew, glad that's over, the lack of outball for 60 mins is really worrying for the future, won't get away with that against the better teams.

Well deserved, ground out performance. Three points is what we wanted, its what we got. Convincing or not, those lads delivered.

I will say, nice to have a reliable defence.

37.7% possession. Wasn't it 12% against Fwank's Derby? LOLOL

Not very often we play a match with no strikers on the bench and no goalie either.

They all did their job well. True, FGR were almost laughably bad at times, but they did their job. We now have depth in defence. Attack, well, very much not.
