I disagree on Thomason and MJ.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 8:48 pmMaybe. MJ could help block off that area in front of the back three but also start winning it back.jmjhb wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 8:46 pmA Thomason maybe?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 8:45 pmIn my opinion we are missing an MJ Williams for games like this. Someone with some presence in midfield. We are too lightweight in there and consequently we are unable to win second balls or really set up counter presses.
We're doing relatively decently covering defensively, despite their fast press. What we don't have is a way of progressing out of the defence. You'd suspect Morley would be able to open that up but their big lump will cut it out on high balls and we're struggling to get the ball out to the runners.
For me this would be ideally suited for Jerome or JDB.

The other thing with MJ was you could sub say Bradley and go to a back 4, bring Kachunga on and change shape knowing he offered genuine cover for the two Centre halves. We don’t have that option tonight.

Ridiculous. Fkin linesman yards away and failing to give a foul for Shoretire being thrown to the ground.

We ain’t a side to sit back but it wouldn’t astonish me to see Mbete on for Bradley later on, move Geth to RWB and add height at the back
