For me. Worried about John. Worried about up front.

I’m pretty struggling to make much of a case that we can win this game.

But I’m not keen on throwing Johnstone back in to this. It feels a bit set up for failure that. Nor do I think we can accommodate Lee and Kachunga and I think sheehans range might just be more critical at Wembley than Lee’s press. But I do fancy Cameron and Kieran off the bench especially if we somehow can get our noses in front.

In the cold light of day I suspect that we are considerable underdogs here given our lack of choices up front and that Plymouth are just that bit more settled and reliable and able to churn out wins we can’t.

That said. COYW!

A request on this day of days. We are all Bolton supporters from Astley Bridge to Aukland, from Queens Park to Queensland, and for those of us who for whatever varied reasons can no longer make the physical trip, I ask that those who can and do to spare a thought for us and report in and keep us in the frame. We'll be following as ever, T.V Radio, text commentary or whatever, but true fans we are. Right back from Radio Tango days I've never missed a game, so drop an odd line in when you can.

That said, it's time for filling kettles and belting out a ROUSING COME ON YOU WHITES...!. This is our day.....Up and at em... :Jedi:

Funny you say that, because I am actually going with a mate from Auckland today.

Good shout Tango. I know a few who can't make it today for various reasons, dad and father in law due to old age but both will be watching keenly. My nephew, son of Bijou Bob formerly of this parish, became a dad last night and for some reason can't spare a few hours to come to the match  :D

Stats and head says Plymouth but heart always says Bolton. C'mon boys. Bring it home :oyea:

@BWFCi fair point about Sheehan’s range of passing but I suspect Evatt will go Lee. He will want his generals out there and I don’t think there’s much that the manager would describe as more important than the press.

I also don’t think Kieran adds too much as a sub, except possibly game management. Whereas we could go more attacking by subbing him for Kacha/Jerome, or more solid by bringing on Sheehan and dropping to a slightly deeper midfield three.

They're favourites but it's pretty close to 50/50. Would be nice to finally score against the cnuts.

Christ I didn’t realise we hadn’t scored a goal against them since 1993. I know we’ve not played them loads but that’s a ridiculous record.

I’m enjoying the day. If we lose so be it. It won’t be the end of the world. I’d love us to win though.

I think to be honest it’s a day to celebrate regardless of the result. I just suspect they are a bit stronger than we are in the circumstances and I haven’t detected them not taking it seriously….my hope when we got the game was they’d be more absorbed by their chase for automatics than this but isn’t quite working that way.

Aye, we've played them enough you'd have hoped to at least fecking score. Today is the day!

The Mighty Flanners has announced he’s late picking me up, and this has suddenly made the nerves tumble in.

Have a good day, everyone. As my old mate BWFCi says, it’s one for us to celebrate, given where we’ve been recently.

Love it Tango!

I was unfortunately unable to get over to the UK for it but I’ll be watching it here at midnight in Aus.

Have an absolute ball fellas, you never know when these moments might come around again.

Apologies in advance to you all. In recent years I've rarely been able to watch us due to work, life and time zones. Whenever I have watched us we have been abject. My record in finals and semi finals is equally abysmal. I'm apologising because I've stumped up some money to NowTV and will be watching from the sofa this afternoon.

Sonic, I hope you've rested the kettle all week, because we're going to need it this afternoon :kettle: :kettle: :kettle:

There or not it's the support that counts and your support hasn't gone unnoticed. Hopefully a good day and whatever your circumstances it's nice to have you watching and posting.

Good lineup. Good squad and good weather. Let's go.

Not the XI I’d have picked, but I’m not the gaffer.

Nice atmosphere at the ground. Day out vibes.
