Four changes. Toal in. MJ midfield?
Presumably
....Geth-Toal-Johnston....
Bradley-MJ-Demps-Randy

TOAL
That seems like a very attacking line-up. Good bench options too.

Yeah, Morley was the one I thought looked out on his feet...
Kacha for Dan, OK with
Williams for John - dunno. Probably prefer Dec
MJ for Morley, makes sense
Lee for Sheehan, OK with that...

Minus Randell that was the team I picked earlier this week. Think it’s needed.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 2:01 pmFour changes. Toal in. MJ midfield?

For the first time (barring cup games) since his arrival, there's no place in the 18 for Shoretire. Subs are three central midfielders and three centre-forwards (plus Dec), so yeah we got options.
This things are mutable but I'll be intrigued to see if it's more of the recent "one behind two" – with MJ sitting and Demps/Lee as the free 8s - or Lee as the 10 in front of Demps and MJ. Not entirely sure MJ can play in a four across midfield, but then again can he play as the sole defensive midfielder?
As I say these positions change second by second in the game, and they should all be digging back as well as getting forward. But what we don't have is an obvious "quarterback" or deep passer who can switch the play – unless that's under the remit of MJ, a Maldini/Pirlo hybrid...

Well, this is a new one for me - Derek and Harlan without the frequently necessary corrective of video showing what's actually going on.
