Funny lot, Lincoln - sometimes top-8, sometimes bottom-8. Evatt giving Mark kennedy the plaudits in the opreview, but then he usually does. But he also notes that we have something like 10 home games in the first 15 so a fast start is needed.

I'm not saying Lincoln are poor – I don't know, and the beauty of a new season is that nobody really does - but you imagine anything less than a win will be greeted with disappointment.

Mixed pre-season, thrashed a team 7-0 then lost to Grimsby 2-0.

Hope we remain resolute and professional and get the 3 points.

Two new signings replacing the two loan heroes. Five summer signings on the bench (four new plus Dan).

No bench keeper is no surprise. No Sadlier and no John is also not one to fall off the chair at.

Bod not ready for the bench, but we still have two strikers on there - three if you count CMG, which Evatt sometimes does - so that's OK too.
