Time to take off Thomasson I think.
He’s a walking yellow card.

Agreed. He's had a decent game. I'd bring CMG on for him, likewise JDB for Vic.

I do worry that refs like to level things up. Not sure their keeper could complain but Thomo AND Rico on yellows is a concern.

Gomes ready to come on. If for Thomo, that's a bold switch.

You are right to worry. He's clearly done it earlier in the match with our penalty being given despite it being outside the box.

DSB, I don't see Thomason for CMG as a bold switch. I think both put themselves about a bit, probably more positionally solid having Thomo on the pitch, but his ability to put himself about the pitch should see CMG doing well.

That being said, the next match is Salford in the FLT. So perhaps we'll not give too many concerns should Thomason get sent off and have to miss that one.

CMG for JDC seems an odd switch. Have we gone to a straight back four for this?

Gomes for Dacres-Cogley. So we DO have an attacking WB sub option after all....

Exeter now back on top. 6 of the top teams are all winning with Oxford the one at the top of the table trailing.

Aren't suspensions comp-specific now? IDK.

I mean basically Tomo's a 6 who can play at 8 whereas CMG's a 10 who can play at 8. Circumstance-specific, sure, but it's a switch. ANyway he may have gone to RWB...

We're packing the midfield in response to their changes. Good.

Jerome for Vic. Strange one for me that is especially with JDB on the bench.

Not sure. If they are, i've missed the memo. They should be.

One more goal to get us to go top of the league as far as I can tell.

I think Ilesy might be tired after his marathon blog yesterday - he's just posted that JDC's been booked for a foul, which would be a neat trick for someone subbed 10 minutes ago
