No Gooseberries at Shrewbury. Away to Shrewsbury Tuesday 7th Nov 7-45.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

Maghoma comes into what looks a strong starting lineup.

Have to say I’m a little confused as to why we need all of CMG, Bod, Dan and Jerome on the bench but no sub keeper.

Back to Charlton XI save Maghoma in for Morley. Keeperless bench.

Couch is out, the 14" TV is also on with glorious colour. Don't fret, I've got a TV licence.

I think maybe its been reported badly.

Official site has it with Hutchinson on the bench.

Wanderers: Baxter (GK), Dacres-Cogley, Jones, Almeida Santos (C), Toal, Williams, Thomason, Sheehan, Maghoma, Adeboyejo, Charles

Subs: Hutchinson (GK), Iredale, Forrester, Morley, Bodvarsson, Nlundulu, Jerome

Maybe he's injured or prone a loan.

Really wish our strikers could get a shot away quicker.

Good play on the left from Thomo.

I'm surprised at no CMG on the bench
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

And the key to a result is a good :kettle:

Don't think Adeboyejo did too much wrong. As for Thomo, thought that was more fortune than decent play.

Massive pocket of space in our defence, dangerous corner too. Lets hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

Indeed. In for Hutchinson.

Might as well have the attacking option on the bench rather than the backup GK. It'll be so few and far between that we need to leverage a backup GK so it just makes sense.

Perhaps a new role of an outfielder who can play in goal is where a few players could make their career.

Pretty poor performance so far given our current run of early advantages. It's been a whole host of meh from both teams. Maybe the game plan differs on this match (not that it suits us).

Shrewsbury seemingly content just to let us have the ball on our own half. Perhaps they're happy so it on a draw already?

Very poor in possession at the moment. Then one moment of quality from Maghoma and Vic… does that. Terrible effort.

Definitely not the Bolton performances we've become accustomed to. Vics effort should really be hitting the target, but you'd be able to argue that he needs to get power to beat those on the line.

Frustrating first half. Doesn't look like we're all too willing to play it risky.

I'm liking Maghoma's ability to drop a shoulder. Seems to be useful addition to our midfield play, not that its amounting to much in this game however.

Very very flat so far. Shrewsbury defending in numbers and we can’t break through. Also noticeably squeezing onto the midfield who have no space and as usual struggling with that.

Maybe they saw the memo of us scoring more than any other team and thought hmmmm we can ease up a bit.
