Fourth successive league game he's been on the bench, which hasn't happened since the very start of the season. Mind you, we're so short of options that Coleman's on the bench too (Oxford is the only time Joel was a sub in favour of a senior outfielder - namely Ashworth), so you'd expect Zac will be wearing a bib for a bit yet, especially with Gethin going.

I hear you on Vic - could just be resting the tired (and I'd play Vic v Burton).BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 7:14 pmI’m surprised he isn’t playing Victor tonight tbh as feels more like the sort of game that might suit him. Can’t imagine lots of space and more likely to be a case of someone backing in against a deep lying defence perhaps bringing some joy.
Also surprised Thomason isn’t given a rest here.
On Tomo - maybe he will be rested at home v Burton.

Lineup: Baxter, Toal, Santos, Jones, Williams, JDC, Dempsey, Sheehan, Thomas, Charles, JDB.
Rotation to keep certain players fresh.
For Fleetwood, they've got ex-Wanderer's Lynch, Earl and Vela. Vela the most well known of the bunch is possibly our biggest problem in this match as last few times we've played them he's put in a few meaty challenges, i'd expect no difference today. One of a few people that were in our last Premier League campaign that's still going.
They may be propping up the league but they seem to have shut up shop lately. A far cry from a few games ago where they conceded 3+ goals in 5 consecutive games.

Clearly going for some of that ex-player curse magic to get him a goal.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 7:17 pmI hear you on Vic - could just be resting the tired (and I'd play Vic v Burton).

Yeah I guess he wants to play him against his old club I guess I just feel that game would suit Bod more on paper.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 7:17 pmI hear you on Vic - could just be resting the tired (and I'd play Vic v Burton).BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 7:14 pmI’m surprised he isn’t playing Victor tonight tbh as feels more like the sort of game that might suit him. Maybe Thomo is rested against Burton but again knowing how Burton play it feels like a game you want him in midfield.

I'd much rather Tomo plays tonight and gets a rest on Monday than vice versa.

Good news is that I get to watch the game tonight.
Bad news for you all is that I get to watch the game tonight. Poor viewing form of late.
1-0 to the Whites should do it. COYWM

Is the audio slightly annoyingly ahead of the video by about 1 second for anyone else? Nitpick I know.

Wind likely to play its part today.
Wet and windy. Not exactly nice conditions for us to play our usual style.
Yeah, that audio stream is annoyingly ahead.

Wigan 2-0 Carlisle HT, Magennis (pen), Morrison
Rare moment seeing Magennis on the scoresheet. Rare as rocking horse sh*t.

Definitely looks like the best results we can get from the chasing pack. Gives us that game in hand to get further ahead.
