Farewell Deadly Derek. The joy of trying to replicate such a wierd action was an absolute pleasure when you were 10.

Rob Burrow. Would deserve to be called a legend just for what he did on the field. But so much more. And a genuinely beautiful shining example of friendship with Kevin Sinfield.

I think they'd prefer rhino to giant in that part of the world (!), but absolutely. What a man.

Fair point, although Huddersfield isn't too far away!

Seemed like a great man. Somehow it seems even more sad to see a man in such great physical condition, large muscle mass etc succumb to such a cruel illness and how fragile we really are.

Moved a lot of people in many different ways before and during his battle and I'm sure he will continue to do so in his death.

Rest in Peace Roy Greaves. 77 is no age to pass on but Roy suffered from ill health. A true Bolton legend who remained forever a White. God Bless.

"Bolton Wanderers are planning to honour Greaves and another legend who passed away recently, Tommy Banks, at Sunday’s home game against Wrexham." ...from Bolton News.
