Time to go.

No amount of Sammy Lee spin will be able to polish that turd. We've had 18 shots to their 6, 3 on target to their 2 and we've never once looked like scoring, including when Collins is hitting the bar.

Never been one for calling for a manager to go, but it's looking untenable at this stage. Not good enough. Pathetic from everyone involved.

I try not to be overly reactionary, but this is becoming very hard to defend.

We've not scored in the league in over 250 minutes.

Evatt won't get this lot up, no chance.

I think Sharon won't sack him until attendances start going down. The ice is extremely thin and I don't think his weight loss is enough to stop him falling through.

There will be those outside of the club who will think we're crazy getting rid of the manager that has gotten us to the play off final however that is not acceptable.

I'll be extremely sad to see Ian go as I wanted him to do well here with us but the club needs to go up and unfortunately he's been found out and teams know how to beat us.

Oxford, Charlton and Exeter both teams we beat extremely easily last season all turning us over in the space of a few months.

Just go. Show some dignity for once in your life and leave. Now. Stop ruining this great football club with your failed experiment and dreadful ego.

Out. Out. Out.

And take Sheehan and Santos with you. For the love of god.

Attendances went down at half time. The good news is we're only one point worse off at the top.

Says it all really.

We've rarely lost 2 games in succession under Evatt.

When we have there's usually something justifying it:

Aug 2022: Sheffield Wednesday, Plymouth
Oct 2022: Cheltenham, FGR (both away)
Nov 2023: Portsmouth, Bristol Rovers
Feb 2024: Blackpool, Wigan

No justifying todays result however.

Club is now for me failing not just management. Letting Evatt stay this season is an appalling piece of judgement and the lack of ruthlessness is going to set us back years if not leave us permanently stuck down here. Fans knew in the summer. Some knew before. The whole thing is far too cosy and far too nice. And it feels like the fans being on their backs is the only pressure being applied. And by god do these lot need some serious blasting.

I'm just wondering if changes in personnel are having an effect. It doesn't take much to alter the atmosphere in a dressing room and the overall determination of a squad. We may all want to see the very best coaches at the club or players in the team, but if they don't gel then you're you're not going to get the results you expected.

Obvs, teams can lose two running, I'm missing the justification?

Why do you do it? Evatt is going to go and you're still not happy, got to jump onto the next thing. Let's get Sharon out whilst we're at it, get someone proper in, another Gartside or even better Ken Anderson.

Fans were willing to give him another shot, you and a few others weren't.

Shocking. We don't have a manager who understands the game. As much as I wanted him to go after last season, but since Sharon kept him as he blamed Coleman, I was prepared to give him 10 games. I think he will get us relegated if given that much time. At half time I thought at least Charles and Sheehan would be taken out after a dreadful 1st half.. Lo and behold they all came back out. They scored again (no surprise) before he acted. Then he kept Charles on the field the whole game. The problem starts at the back. We just do not have the players to pay how the manager wants to play. How long will it take him to understand that! Exeter defenders just tackle, and ping it forward... how simple football can be. Its not engineering science. I could go on venting but let me calm down first.

Evatt won’t be sacked. The whole setup is too cosy. This is football and ultimately decisions had to be made. Last summer was incredibly poor. Letting Evatt skulk off to decide if he wanted to deign us with his presence this season. When there should have been a full blown inquest into his failings.

I’m not asking for the board to go - that’s ridiculous but they have to take blame for letting this situation occur.
