"Yes, we have no bananas!" Away to Barrow by the sea. Tues, Sept 3rd 7-45. -45

Lack of composure shown from Demps there.
Sadly thought even with the keeper out of position we were never scoring from there.

The foundation is the issue at the minute, conceding these free kicks and giving us a mountain to climb knowing how little we've scored.

God that was bad, anyone at the stage of hoping we lose to quicken the managerial change?

More boos from the traveling fans.

Weve been OK. Sloppy on set pieces but not much in the match. Collins or McAtee putting away their chances and being on side would help paint a better picture.

Is this really Barrow B team?

Not quite, but not many from their proper first 11.

We're losing 1-0 to a good non-league side, basically.

Not exactly great.

It's not undeserved at all. Barrow the better team.

They look in control, but with a slight lack of quality costing them. We look far too open and could’ve conceded four but for a final ball—the kind of final ball that a league above should engender, and that, yet again, we are utterly incapable of making. Or on those occasions when we can, runs aren’t timed perfectly, the weight isn’t right, the shot is withheld or dreadful.

Most basic level: they can score set pieces. We’ve looked nowhere near this season. Jackson with the assist, too. Cogley, take note, lad.

They look devoid of confidence and I quite understand why.

I see moments where we could rip through teams. Unfortunately they aren’t prolonged enough. Maybe it is a matter of time before it all clicks into place, but we can’t afford that. 10 games? No thanks.

Geeez. Season so far in microcosm.

Another injury. Looking sharp in the middle but the cutting edge of a wet lettuce. Soft mistakes. Horrible at set pieces.

The number of times we're pressing the edge of the box, they play forward and the back 3 are 15 yards in our half. Prime Vieira and Kante couldn't make that work.
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

I see those, we usually turn around and pass to Baxter instead.

Shame Matheson is so small, he takes up some good positions going forward.
