Terriers Barking, But Can Bolton Bite Back? - Bolton v Hudderfield - 14/09/2024 @ 3pm

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

Goodnight Vienna
For the match or the manager too? I said before the game I doubt defeat would cost him his job but I'm not sure.
The manager. Not that he'll necessarily be potted straight away, but I don't think there's any coming back from this. When not if.

Lots of people walking out.

Hard to make rational decisions during a game but this feels like the end for Evatt, whether he likes it or not.

Hard to see it any other way.

We're getting worse, not better.

Players look like they need a new voice. Evatt looks like he doesn't understand how to play his own system.

If he doesn't go it's a long way back.

Definite Megson against Hull around New Year 2010 vibes. No getting the crowd back from here.

It reminds me of losing to West Ham in our first Premier season, 1995. The reaction to McFarland prompted Redknapp to call the Burnden fans "the worst in football".

But they'd just had enough, and it's the same now.

No idea what this is meant to be. Back four, so we'll have some width? No it's some mental diamond with George stood out on the right for some reason. Let's somehow make everything even narrower.

Hopeless.

Today was a day for showing some improvement. Should always be a tough game facing a side that's just been relegated as they should have higher quality with some championship players in there.

As it stands, i'm seeing no improvement. Very little positivity to be had, some moments of decent passing up top that players aren't ready for and when they are ready we put in really poor delivery. There's no cutting edge and no fight. It's apathy.

We're not even seeing players getting sent off or players frustrated. They seem careless.

Definite end of Megson vibes, end of Lennon vibes.

I want a change. This is shit. If Evatt isn't going to change it, get someone in who will. Players haven't been good enough.

And yes, the ref has been shit, seemingly against us, but even if he was favouring us, we wouldn't be winning this.

Oh wow. That's almost parodically like Evattball shooting itself in the face.

Sorry, I have to laugh. I'm not minimising - Evatt's got to go. But that was properly laughable.

If this doesn't warrant the handing out of P45's then I don't know what does. This is sad

I think we should investigate them for match fixing. That 4th was criminal.

Yeah, was just about to post something simialr but as usual you put it better.

Evatt's fine for long periods when he can #download #content, but he CANNOT think on the hoof and it's costing him his job.
