Kicking the bucket .E.F.L Cup 3rd round. Away to Arsenal Wed, 25th Sep. 7-45.

Should have scored. From what I’ve seen of Arfield in these games his finishing is suspect!

Is Arfield a footballer? Looks like a competition winner.

fecking hell Arfield. Dreadful. Doubt he's a starter this season. Swing and a miss. Rice pops it in.

Airfield crap finish; crap decision for a definite pen; Arfield crap clearance. A crap sandwich in which the bread is also crap.

I'm beginning to think seasoned pro is short for shit. Laboured swing for the ball, so poor. I saw enough of Jerome to know it didn't work. Early days for Arfield but it's barely looking better.

We should've had a pen. Ah well.

Would be nice to see us getting in the face of that keeper.

Always one player that does us in.

People whinging already about Arfield starting over Thomasson and he does that. Evatt will be livid as we've not been bad at all.

Think we’ve done fine. Also shows me that Thomason is our best player - take him out and that midfield does look very very average.

I mean we could be 4-0 down already and you can’t really complain when you look at the side Arsenal have out. Some of their players individually cost more than it would take to buy and sell Bolton Wanderers and the hotel twice over.

It'd be understandable if it was a young player making a mistake. But when it's your player that has played against Arsenal and should know better it's a bitter pill to swallow. Entirely different story if he scores early on with that early effort.

Is kit clashing with the shorts no longer an issue? Surprised to see us and Arsenal both in white shorts.

Still yet to see a long shot.

Let's not give this keeper a debut with 0 shots on target.

We probably should’ve scored 2 and a penalty. Weird.
