I'm looking forward to clean sheets. That way we guarantee progress.. Giving away early soft goals has become a habit we should lose. 3-0 will look a whole lot better.

Intrigued by Matherson being down at Wealdstone training with the first team (on Wanderers TV clips). The general consensus on here was he wasn't registered for the league but does the fact that he's travelled suggest he now has taken the last spot being held for the mythical loan player?
With Dacres Cogley running on empty potentially after these 3 games in quick succession could Matherson step up and fill the right hand spot until Williams etc are up to speed.

First goal key, if they get it we might just fall apart. Need a fast start.

They're a possession side. War of attrition perhaps

He's often gone to 1st team away games as "19th man".Tails07 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 10:01 amIntrigued by Matherson being down at Wealdstone training with the first team (on Wanderers TV clips). Or maybe we'll just let them have it. In our last three games we've posted our three lowest possession percentages of the season.

Dempsey starts for Matete. Hmm.

Possibly. Although i'd attribute our lack of possession being a direct result of us being more impactful on the game. Less ball retention and more riskier plays.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 10:38 amOr maybe we'll just let them have it. As for Dempsey starting over Matete that does pose a few questions. Are we going back to three up top as we've seen Dempsey playing earlier in the season? Or just rotating so Matete has more of an impact as a sub?

Just spotted their interim manager's name is Ben Gladwin.
Hopefully by the end of today, he'll have changed it to Ben Sadloss.

Are all our backup defenders injured?

Suggest a fair bit of that was down to Iredale wanting to go and the rest down to us thinking it'd make sense.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 12:25 pmYup. Releasing Iredale looking like a belting decision.
Was Iredale departing, before or after the fall down the stairs?
