A boot up The Cobblers? Northampton away, Tues Oct first 19-45.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

Collins with a near on immediate example as to what I was talking about with the ball getting stuck under his feet. Think the lad just needs to relax a touch.

As for Schon. It very much looks like it's time for Williams to get a run out before he gets sent off. Think Schon is one questionable complaint away from getting sent off.
He set us up for the first and is full of effort.
Taking him off isn't about his performance levels this match. It's the risk with keeping him on. I'd much rather not risk him getting sent off if we can avoid it. I think at 2-0 up we should be able to secure the win with Williams on and get Schon in for Saturday's match. If anything, I think Schon's been great the past few games.

Thomason on the other hand, I think has learned his lesson and can gauge his tackles a little bit better. If Schon's still full energy and effort that may end up just making the decision for the ref. Let's hope not, but i've got Schon subbed around 60 mins.

Love the support given to Santos for the first goal. That's where all the shouts were going from what I can tell.

Northampton rallying for the second half. One more goal and we should be able to see this off comfortably.

HT
Birmingham 0-0 Huddersfield
Stevenage 1-0 Wrexham

We're catching up as it stands.

His effort levels are looking great. Feel like he's grafting for the ball in the same manner we see Dempsey fighting for the ball. Just what we needed from our recruitment.

Dempsey not for getting his goal just yet.

Great ball from Dempsey through to JDC. Little bit of clever play there and he could've let the opposition player run into his back and get a pen.

A Rico goal to shut the fridge filling haters up would be nice.

Hah.i think that might win an award for the worst defending of a set piece this season. Not complaining though.

Agreed.

Nice awareness from Toal, but you'd have to argue that's more Northampton's failings than it is our great set piece work.

Can't wait till Collins remembers that he's actually a really good player.
