7 times in 11 games we've let 2 or more in and we were lucky to keep Orient to 1. What are they smoking, worrying about which 2 strikers to play?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 3:57 pmHaven’t even got onto the two goals we conceded which are amateur hour. What does Evatt and his coaching staff do all week? Stealing a living.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 3:54 pmI might have mentioned this once or twice. CAN SOMEONE TELL THIS LOT HOW TO DEFEND!!!!!
feck me this is pooer.

If anything, i'd class this as a chance for us to prove Evatt's doubters wrong.McD wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 4:00 pmInsane, I believe this entirely down to Evatt.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 3:53 pmIt’s simply down to the attitude of the players. Sat off them. Showed no intensity. No desire. They can’t be bothered and why should anyone else be?
Has to be a better second half but regardless the first half shows all our problems with poor mentality and lack of intensity and desire - which you need every minute always - it’s too inconsistent. And there is no excuse for that. The bare minimum is to be right at it. They too often don’t hit the bare minimum.
- Thinking this would be a walk in the park, decides to revert to his style of play "to practice it"
- Result as expected
No game-plan, players look lost
- Nothing changes
- This is the true colours of Evatt
- Looking forward to his excuses
Lovely jubbly, Thomason to Charles, to Dempsey, goal.
That man's on form.

Better. Sonic, you need to start watching from the start pal. It's getting beyond a joke this.

Shrewsbury starting with the antics.

Shipley down. Boy who cried wolf getting taken off shortly after milking a free kick. Looks a sore one.

That should be an extra 2-3 mins injury time

I'm seeing nowt to prove Evatt doubters wrong. Even if we win 4-2. Just more doubt, that he has an notion how to build a team that doesn't concede 2 a game.Mar wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 4:05 pmIf anything, i'd class this as a chance for us to prove Evatt's doubters wrong.McD wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 4:00 pmInsane, I believe this entirely down to Evatt.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 3:53 pmIt’s simply down to the attitude of the players. I meant if we win. We weren't able to win against Shrewsbury last season when 2-1 down. That'd be the difference, us being able to come back from potentially crap results.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 4:12 pmI'm seeing nowt to prove Evatt doubters wrong. Even if we win 4-2. As it stands, it's looking more of the same.
Hearing Arfield warming up doesn't give me hope either.

Still giving the ball away.
Toal breaking through and then stopped? Wtf.

Panic fannies. It's simple. We're panic fannies.

Schon making up for the shot before. Get in lads.
Re: The unguarded moment. At Home to Shrewsbury Sat Oct 54th 3'0 clock
Seemed like he missed the ability to pass to Schon out wide. Great run on the left. Passes it through to Thomason which kills the pace of the play. Areas he's not used to.
Get in! 2-2. Ball out to Sheehan, gets it to JDC who finds a man and Dempsey tees up Schon for the goal.
JDC finds a man and look what happens. Get in!

Cross from the right from someone other than Cogley…goal!
Re: The unguarded moment. At Home to Shrewsbury Sat Oct 54th 3'0 clock
I do think that needs sorting in January.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 4:20 pmCross from the right from someone other than Cogley…goal!
He's just popped up on the left crossed, hit the first man and conceded a goal kick.

I like the lad, he’s a league one defender but league two going forwards. Let’s hope tutu can get fit.DJBlu wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 4:21 pmI do think that needs sorting in January.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 4:20 pmCross from the right from someone other than Cogley…goal!

Sounds a bit harsh, thought JDC did well to spot Dempsey for the cross when they're in a tightly congested box.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 4:20 pmCross from the right from someone other than Cogley…goal!
Shades of last season this. Lets hope we can get a better result.
Thought it was a good run by JDC for that. Typical end result though.DJBlu wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 4:21 pmI do think that needs sorting in January.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 4:20 pmCross from the right from someone other than Cogley…goal!

This timewasting is taking the piss. Get him off the pitch.

This is a much improved second half.
Gotta wonder if subs would disrupt this level of effort.
