His behaviour and reaction at the final whistle could make people think he's unhinged. When results are going against you and you're potentially on the precipice this kind of thing could be the straw that breaks the camel's back

I don't think it will be, but it's certainly embarrassing

Me too, but when you've got a manager in the danger zone, those making the big decisions might not

It wasn’t great but it’s the fact we are still in league one that is damning not that he lost his cool with a referee.

Twenty three managers might have views on that.

Aye, I can't get worked up about it. Evatts been in the game long enough to know he's not going to get anywhere approaching the ref at the final whistle. Shake the hands of the opposing bench and bog off down the tunnel. You can whinge at the ref later when you've had time to decompress.

I thought people wanted #pashun :D

Anyways - I hear the "camel's back" theory but it seems Sharon's spine can withstand a hell of a lot of bales of straw

Yer boi Evatt could do without it because every non-win slides him back under the microscope, and will continue to do so (even IMO if we win promotion, an eventuality on which I wouldn't stake much)

Perhaps the back will eventually be broken by just that - wheh the board realise that Every. Single. Non-win. will create yet another shit-storm (and I understand why, whether or not I agree with it)

There's a whole hygiene thing going on and Evatt leaning his bonce into the oppo doesn't exactly sit well with Sharon's best intentions

Mind you neither does the galloping Dempseys' rather physical version of social outreach, and that was waved through

Maybe Ian was just hangry

We're going to have games like Saturday, for sure, no doubt. So will most of the other teams. And to me, they're expected. In that sense, no drama.

2.11 ppg all the way to the end of the season, to hit 2 ppg....

Brum chugging along at 2.44, Mansfield 2.22.

We've got 13 points from teams below 16th in 5 games. Pretty good. 2.6 ppg

1 point from 4 teams, higher than 16th (they're all 9th or above) in 4 attempts. 0.25 ppg.

Burton up next, 23rd in the league - you'd think we should, but the way it's going, I'm not totally confident...

A three match touchline ban and a fine of £3,400.

I think that's probably about what was expected, wasn't it?

Dion Charles, Toal and Bradley all playing for Northern Ireland vs Bulgaria.

Charles with a tremendous assist well worth watching.

Toal coming off early through injury, looks innocuous as well. From the little I have seen the referee has been absolutely awful.

Presumably the FA coffers which goes towards youth football and the rest.

Ah just stuck the Toal injury in t’other thread. Charles looks like he is having a good game. Along with the other players called Charles!

Yeah, he's just scored but had it disallowed thanks to this questionable ref.

I don't wish ill on the guy at all but the second he finishes with us his career will tank. He isn't even a good league two manager.

One of the comments about Mark Robins exiting Coventry. "The fact that Robins bought more attackers in the summer but neglected to fix the engine room was a baffling failure in a league as physical and intense as the Championship" Not sure that only applies in the Championship TBF.
