Taking Stock (port) ....A trip away to the neighbours. Sat Nov 9th, 3-0'clock.

Yeah, that's been coming. They've targeted Forrester and they're right to.
And Cogley. Been poor down that side
Yeah that's fair. "In behind the wingbacks" is always a ball you have to expect in this system, but it always seems to surprise us. And in those situations I tend to blame the outside centre-back rather than the wing-back, who's often up the field.

To me this is simply down to mentality, fight and desire. We are just soft.

And he’s been his usual wasteful self with the ball. I feel like I pick on him because I say it so much.

I’d put it more down to technical sloppiness. We keep giving the ball away cheaply.

I see what you're saying. He's basically a very athletic third-tier right-back with low creativity. On the other side, Schön is a converted winger so he tends to be better going forward; but to me they've targeted our right side not our left.

Funny how you can pretty much predict the games that our ‘technical sloppiness’ will show up in.

It’s just a very Evatt performance in a local derby. It’s the same shite we turn out at Wigan. We’ve worked on our shape and our passing and our little triangles but we can’t adapt to the tempo of the game and now they are a goal up we’re resorting to impossible balls. Every fecking time!

Schön almost costing us for a second time there.

This has been an abysmal half from us.

Poor, that. Shaky in defence, neither creative nor solid in midfield, absent up front. Apart from that, great.

Can't say this has been anything but awful.

Knew this response was coming. Thankfully only 1 in it.

fecking poundshop pep strikes again. Absolutely terrible excuse for ‘football’ this. Needs proper tackles and getting up the pitch quick to try and equalise. We’ve had no shots on target again. I’d sack the c*nt at half time if I could - it’s the same shit we turn out in games like this every fecking time. Stop trying to be man fecking city and start looking like what we can be!

You can guarantee we’ll have more possession, less shots on target, and less goals by the end. If we come back in this I’ll be very fecking surprised, needs a total change in mentality at half time.

If we lose the game, sack him. That’s where I am right now.

That collar who scored their goal sums it up - he’s clearly fecking limited, all he’s done of any use is stick one on Sheehan, one on Schon to rattle them and then he’s popped up in the box. How they set up is bloody simple - 4 defenders, 3 midfielders and 3 forwards, a tricky one, a big lad and the chap that’s clearly in their to rattle the oppositions back line. Basic fecking football at this level… Evatt needs to take fecking note.

I’d bring 3 subs on half time, tutu, jones and Lolos for forrester, Cogley and Victor. Barry has that right side of our defence on toast, I’m hoping tutu and jones are actually half fit, and the gap between the midfield and forward line is crying out for an attacking mid in their not mcatee who isn’t one.
