I’m on the teacher side of the desk. “Turgid aimless shite and nowt up top” is a versatile assessment.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 7:45 pmYou're going for double the torture thenBorsdaneWhite wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 7:41 pmI hesitate to ask—I’d normally be there, but have parents’ evening (currently an attritional draw)—but will there be a couch this evening?![]()

Strange bit of dribbling the ball out from the back from JDC leads to a slip but no damage done. Why do we do this to ourselves?
We've got enough nerves as it is without adding pressured defenders.
I'm getting the feeling this is how the match will play out. Us sitting back soaking up pressure as Mansfield go for it. They look up for it and we look like we want to be patient.

Not as easy as perhaps it looked, but a decent opportunity for Vic.

Bloody hell Gethin and Victor. How do you miss?
Re: A Novel affair. Home to Mansfield Town Tues 3rd Dec. 1945
WTF was that free header from Jones?!
Re: A Novel affair. Home to Mansfield Town Tues 3rd Dec. 1945
That's a bad miss from Vic, would expect him to do better. Maybe it took a nick off their player. Great movement on the corner from Geth, not so great the header.
That should be 1-0.

Just out of interest, does two arms raised when we're taking a corner mean we're passing to the opposition at the near post?
I'm seeing a pattern.

This last few minutes is reminiscent of the best stuff we’ve played under Evatt. Let’s keep it up.
