Lose this, he has to go. Absolutely last straw.

Wigan should've had another.

Osei-Tutu is doing an awful job of defending these crosses, beaten far too easily and every ball is looking threatening.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 12:51 pmWe are fecking shite

I agree about the midfield three. Matete keeps coming back for a makeshift CB.
Lovely play from McAtee then, better shooting from Schon might've helped.

Wigan have to concede. They've got Aimson in defence.

We have this issue now where some of our fans have in their heads that all our problems are linked to playing ‘tippy tappy’ football, and thus start booing whenever we retain possession at the back. But actually, our primary problem recently is that we’ve been absolutely shite on the ball, and the booing is seemingly exacerbating this.

We’re playing pound shop pep wankball and creating nowt
They are just capitalising on scraps getting it wide and putting simple balls in, which our pound shop pep wank defence can’t deal with

Indeed. Only way out is to perform well from the outset or yank out the roots (pot Evatt).The_Gun wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 1:04 pmWe have this issue now where some of our fans have in their heads that all our problems are linked to playing ‘tippy tappy’ football, and thus start booing whenever we retain possession at the back. Not sure why we just didn't go 4-5-1 or 5-4-1 for games like this. We've so light in midfield I fully agree it's awful and practicially non-existant.
I was nervously optimistic before the game, this very much seems like it's a case of more of the same. Same tactics vs Wigan, same results. Feels like all they need to do is turn up and look slightly organised against us.

There’s no escape for Evatt after this?

Soft ref for a local derby. Stupid.

He won't get ousted for this surely. He should've learned a few lessons by now but clearly this is more of the same.
Thomason booked for pushing a player over. The ref didn't look like he was going to book him until their player started chasing Thomason.
Lovely play by Vic until the end.

That's Johnston and Santos out of the Wycombe game if not mistaken.

Tallest dwarf competition an all that, but I think Jones and Santos are performing well.
Johnston seems to be putting in his best impression of Jack Iredale.
Add Baxter to the performing well club.

I feel like the board will have no option this time. It's too much for the fans.Mar wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 1:10 pmofficer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 1:08 pmSurely

We seem to have completely lost our heads. No composure, no quality on the ball.

I think it's clear by now that they won't sack him as long as we're within touching distance of the play-offs, which we still are.
It's infuriating, but it seems it's the reality.
