Excellent play there and a good turn by Schon, wins the free kick on the edge of the box.

Some really good one touch stuff going forward. Don't know if it's cause we're playing well or Barnsley are letting us play.

Fairly even this, both sides having chances going forward, could do with a second

Jones tackling has been good. Passing poor.

Forester not really noticeable so he must be keeping his guy quiet. We'll deserved keeping their spots. Santos plying w3ll.

All in all its a good first half. Thomason seems unnecessarily panicked. More to come from him

Fair play to Arfield, looks like he's taken Christmas seriously and actually is performing beyond some that have had more games time.

Professional if anything.

It's about time. I'm led to believe he had played a full season, then an mls season then came straight to us. Guy probably just needed some time off

Relevant HTs
• Huddersfield 1-0 Stockport - 4th beating 5th despite neither side having a shot on target - first-minute Bate oggy
• Lincoln 0-1 Shrewsbury - not in the Imps' script to lose vs the bottom side
• Reading 2-0 Northampton - Nobby's team yet to force a save
• Posh 0-3 Mansfield - far from undeserved - Stags have had 12 shots, and 23 touches in the box to the home side's 2

As it stands we're 7th, would need to win by 4 to go 6th.

Head up Aaron. Schon in acres of space.

Barnsley break, ball in, lad on his own, borrows Collins's boots and blazes over.
