Fed up of myself making references to golf course space, but we still give it game after game. Their second goal was flukey, just a foot stuck out, but Santos should have covered that. Uphill fight now because they'll park the bus. We can do it, but we sure are hard work at times.

Si Deus pro nobis, quis contra nos?

One day Charles will complete a forward pass. But it is not this day...

JDC having the job of two? I thought Jones was next to his man and JDC has gone close to the player that is closest to goal to double up on the defending. Almost as if he doesn't fully trust Jones to do what needs to be done.DJBlu wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 4:00 pmTheir 1st, JDC is marking two and doesn't close the ball down. Jones is nowhere to be seen and has his fecking arms out as if to say he's offside or something. Sooner he feck* off from this club the better. JDC is having to do the job of two and he struggles with his own job. Toal in then maybe it's a different scoreline.
The wingbacks have been clearly told to get up the pitch as Schon is bombing on in attacks.
Given we see gaps in front of our box every week, I suspect its more systemic instruction.
JDC should've been taken off already. He's not covered himself in glory and he's playing within himself given he's on a yellow.

Get him subbed and go 4 at the back Ian ffs

Can't tell if Schon's been booked or not for that exchange.
Heads gone for Bolton.
Our service to the likes of Charles has been poor today. Everyone else has managed to find the ball.

How many is Charles going to miss from dead centre of the 6 yard box? fecking hell.

That's going to take a few thousand off his fee

That's a close one from Schon and Charles. One terrible miss every week, Collins the last guilty party.
Typical that Schon's got himself booked and then starts doing what we know he's capable of.
Williams and Tutu on surely.

This inverted wing back thing is daft.

Dion's near post run there about 10 seconds too late.
If we are playing for cut-backs and crosses why are Williams and Tutu on their opposite flanks?
I get that in theory it's better shooting against a packed box, but we're not playing patterns to get them shots.

We really should be winning this. We are miles better. If only we could defend.

Presumably it's a result of Randell having a good game on the right side and preferring to play that position.GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 4:22 pmDion's near post run there about 10 seconds too late.

Doesn't particularly feel like we've got going in this second half.

FFS if every corner reaches the back post, put someone on there.
That's something like four wasted corner kicks by doing the same play.
