That was bad. We look so bereft of confidence.

Aaron Collins is the laziest, can't be arsed players I've seen for a long time.

It would be interesting how many touches he had, because I'm struggling to think of many - talk about players hiding, he's the worst of a very bad ordinary, spineless, non coached bunch.

if they where playing for the manager today, I'd like to see them play when they aren't.

It’s almost like, and hear me out, that signing another physically small midfield coward wasn’t the fix we needed?

Was it what we needed 3 transfer windows ago?

That's seemingly how long we were chasing Randell.

Randell comes into a high firing team and he performs. Comes into our team and his form will drop off a cliff. Like Morley, he had some good moments today but seemingly shied away from the ball at times. Thomason was especially poor, but that may have been because I kept seeing him chase shadows, perhaps he's trying to do the closing down of those around him rather than a team effort in closing down.

It's an interesting notion...

Can you imagine him and Sheehan v Wiggin? "It's Zulu's Sir, thousands of 'em"

Look at goals against. We need a whole new defence and a midfield monster. And have for two seasons now. But on we go signing players who won’t fix any of the problems we have. Wasting money.

Needing to score three for a fecking point is the issue. The fact he’s gone to the board and got permission to sign a little lad who can ‘play through the lines’ and will help nada with the midfield being consistently overrun just shows how fecking clueless the board are!

Here’s a fecking hint Sharon you bell end. Look at the goals against column. Next time your cosy mate Ian asks for money, just ask him one simple question - ‘how does this signing stop us having more in this column than most of the other teams’.
New(ish) here so not familiar enough… but I’d like to “like” this comment.

Ouch. We were totally out-played by a team who looked like they should be way above us, not points below. Truth is, I'm totally sick of the all-in-wrestling, shirt grabbing and man handling that passes as football now. Take that out and make a foul a foul and the likes of Rotherham wouldn't even make the league, never mind dominate it. As it is, it's just tag-team wrestling with a ball.

Our goal: Great pass by Charles (who I like) , but just how many sitters has he missed this season? Beyond that we never even came close. Bottom half is the reality right now. ae:)

We got outplayed today all over the pitch, but got bullied yet again - they had more energy, nous, skill & physicality. We looked like a very average league 2 side against a team from a higher division.

They also stopped playing at 3-0 and hardly moved out of 2nd gear, we have so many mard, soft, weak, spineless players it's no surprise they go hiding on a very regular basis. We need some men in the team and fast because it is like watching boys playing against men.

Forrester, Johnston, Williams, Collins are like 16 year old choirboys. I'll say it again we need a big strong physical No9 who can hold the ball up and win headers and a big strapping hard as feck centre back.

Too many people associated with the staff, thinking only that goals are the only thing that counts.

And some physical and mobile midfield players. If we can see this and have been saying it for two years what’s the point of professionals ignoring and spending millions incredibly badly?

It’s beyond scandalous. Bolton wanderers chucking money away is unforgivable.

Matete is the closest thing we have to a tackling midfielder, he’s in form and he can’t get in the side. The guy picking the teams clueless, the people who supposedly do the coaching are useless yes men and the board are either clueless about football or too busy getting pissed up before the game to see what 99% of the fan base can see!

Marc Iles this week couldn’t believe there was a negative reaction to us sigining another midfield Oompa Loompa. So he wrote another article about what problems he would fix in the gap between forwards and the deeper lying midfielders. Great, get it, understood. But we’re still a load of short arses not cut out for the rigours of Rotherham away aren’t we? And the players who are over 6 foot don’t play like it…

We can't afford those types who might make a solid midfield, preferably a 4 for me, so we should carry on spunking cash at lightweights.

Lucky to win last week, same shit this.

I still think the physicality thing is being overblown. We finished third last year with a bunch that were no more physical than the current lot, and we’ve dropped off massively.

Signing athletic players wouldn’t hurt, but I’m far from convinced it’s the biggest problem right now.

Positives: Schon. I thought he was brilliant. That dribble and pass that started the move for the goal was awesome.

Observation: we tried but were physically no match. We looked like children playing against men.

Negatives: our defense is piss poor

Overblown ? they got bullied all over the pitch - standard shoulder charges when they went to ground too easily, 50/50 tackles non existent - it not necessarily athletic players we need its bigger more physical players, tougher players we need & have needed for a few years now. This team shrinks, they hide, they go missing, they don't want to know half the time, spineless sh*thouses.

And all of these players are Ian Evatt's signings after apparently doing due diligence with Markham about the players mentality & attitude etc. prior to signing them.

One of the differences this season is that they lack confidence & belief and look like they have stopped listening to Evatt, and it does look like the fitness and conditioning has dropped off this season big time, they look and play like a steam of under trained strangers who want to be elsewhere. Piss poor management and its all down to Ian Evatt, and Ms Brittan can't escape criticism for burying her head in the sand & very weak leadership letting this shambolic season continue and spiral.

Our defence IS poor, but they're also not helped by MF and when the little tricky fckrs up front don't regularly win the ball in their defensive third and they run through, three/two in MF with three/two in defence isn't enough.

I'd omit Williams from that list Bertie, he's been playing well of late. The rest, it's the method of play that's at fault. Collins can score but isn't a ball player and we need to stop giving space away like green shield stamps and get stuck in down the park.. We lose games in our half, not theirs, so that should be number one item on the Evatt bucket list. No point wellying the ball forth if there's no numbers far enough forward to win it. Our passing is more subservient than dominant and we need Desperate Dans not Daniel in the lion's den.

I just about give up on Ian Evatt ever listening to what people think because any reasonable manager would accept six wrongs don't make one all-right.
