Re: In, Out, Shake It All About: January 2025 Transfer Window
It’s more that he’s off to Huddersfield that’s the issue. It’s effectively giving up on anything bar a fluke to the play offs. Which is what we all know to be true, but if your looking for sticks to beat Evatt with…

Has a credible source confirmed the Dion story then?

Max has played left of a back three, orthodox left back, left wing and left wing back. Also a couple of games in central midfield.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 2:03 pmI believe he played on the left of Fylde's back four for a large slice of last season.
He looks a natural left wing back.

So where’s this coming from?
Re: In, Out, Shake It All About: January 2025 Transfer Window
He's doing much better than the last Max we sent there - Clayton, who's now managing a pizza shop in Crewe town centre! Injuries sadly ended his career.

Looks to have started with a tweet from the guy who said he was going last week, before Evatt quashed it.
The same podcasts that deleted their tweets last time have joined in again.
Some Huddersfield "ITK" accounts have joined in, but after the Bolton ones.
Dion was on a Huddersfield shortlist before the window. They are in the market for another striker. Not a clue if this current stuff has any legs.

Yes looking that way, if believed its £750k plus £150k if Hudds get promoted, and apparently Accrington have a sell on % / clause.

Do they include a football, a pound sign and a white rose?

No idea, but Hudds are working on something today.Bertie Wooster wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 2:48 pmYes looking that way, if believed its £750k plus £150k if Hudds get promoted, and apparently Accrington have a sell on % / clause.
With that, I'm off to Lincoln. I imagine the mood will be grim as fook.

Wycombes manager has jumped ship to Luton, will that affect the Morley situation. I guess it will.

Depends on (1) the new gaffer (2) whether they have some overarching 'department' eg DoFknobpolisher wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 2:57 pmWycombes manager has jumped ship to Luton, will that affect the Morley situation. I guess it will.
If they want to minimise change - and let's face it, they're looking at huge turnover with manager, his staff, No6 and a loanee centre-back all gone, and possibly theior best centre-bacl and top scorer both to follow - then maybe they pay a bit more for Moz
Could really go either way

Yes, I know.
But he's out of contract in the summer and seemingly hasn't yet been offered a new one. Come the summer, there's every possibility he might decide he's better off staying at the club where's he's playing regularly.
Re: In, Out, Shake It All About: January 2025 Transfer Window
As DSB noted earlier today, we have the option to extend his contract by another year. Hard to imagine we won’t be exercising that.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 3:26 pmGhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 1:47 pmMax can't talk to Crewe without permission.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 1:40 pmWell, let's hope he doesn't think he'd be better off signing a contract with the club he's currently at before then.

I'm sure there was someone on here who previously suggested discussions had taken place between the two clubs about a permanent move.

He’s got Evatts number Michael Duff for sure. What a shame we weren’t brave enough to swap the two in the summer.

No issue with Dion being sold, as long as we replace him with a big feck off 6ft 3" / 6ft 4" physical striker.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 5:12 pmHe’s got Evatts number Michael Duff for sure. What a shame we weren’t brave enough to swap the two in the summer.
