Reasons to be cheerful. At home to Cambridge Sat 18th Jan 3'clock.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

Yep. No issue with the changes. Cringed a bit at the banner but fine. But anything more is ridiculous imo. That's for your Ken Andersons.

There's a manager I think they should sack. I'd wager most of the fanbase think he should be sacked. They should sack him. But they've just dropped the best part of £1m on a new player, no chance the lights are going out anytime soon. It's part of being a football fan. We all want to win. Most teams can't. Grow up.
One group of lads at Rotherham were agreeing that fans should boycott games because "Nobody should have to pay to watch a midtable club" and I was tempted to ask if they realised they'd bought Bolton Wanderers tickets by mistake.

God forbid we get promoted.
Last bit won't be a problem, we were "Champo ready" last year. Just a little tweak here and there...

Tennis balls on the pitch, come on now.
Yeah, that's fecking ridiculous. There are a load of kids who are genuinely enjoying it at this point. They've seen crisis clubs and now they get to act out as if we are one. What this generation calls "main character syndrome."

Binning a manager and saving a club from extinction are not the same thing and a few need a light slap.
Bolton wanderers is in crisis. This is far wider than a manager - people are disillusioned and fed up. Wait for season ticket sales, and future financing.

Evatt had he gone it would have offered a lifeline but as it stands there is likely to be a major issue. When will the decide to put season tickets on sale? And what narrative can they create?
With respect, and I'm talking as a fan first and foremost here, it's not a crisis. Administration and nearly going to the wall was a crisis.

Sure. But with respect we don’t know how far away we are from that again. If we stagnate that has some significant consequences.

New song for Saturday doing the rounds.

To the tune of Rotterdam by Beautiful South
"We go side-to-side & back again
Side-to-side some more
We go side-to-side & back again
Back again some more, back again once more 1234...."
Repeat.

"This could be Rotherham away again,
Or Huddersfield at home,
We go side-to-side and back again,
But leave their goal alone...leave their goal alone."

That’s very very good but it’s got zero chance of being sung by more than one or two. Far too difficult.

But it’s good cos it’s accurate.

The beauty of it is, it doesn't need any more verses...

If they're going to use the Beautiful South, shouldn't it be (we need a) Perfect 10?
Às armas, às armas!
Sobre a terra, sobre o mar,
Às armas, às armas!
Pela Pátria lutar!
Contra os canhões marchar, marchar!

Very much in favour of the protests, -not that I'll be partaking. The issue for me is they'll look silly/fickle if we win which we probably will.

If you don't win then you've lost feels apt for flat track bullies.

What a good place to be.
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Looks like the Huddersfield game will be a memorial fixture for Dennis Law.

Too young to have seen him play, but did meet him. Charming chap.

Hopefully our lot don't let themselves down because he played for Utd.

Hudds is one of those games that is local enough for the dickhead kids to travel, so I wouldn’t be holding my breath, Ghost.

Last 8 games: LDLWLWLW

Going off that form, we're picking up a result every other game. We're due a defeat.

If we get a draw tomorrow and a win on Tuesday it'll perfectly mirror itself over 10 games,

Please, what are these "Plans" I keep hearing about?

I always see announcing a Bolton "Plan" rather naff when it's really only a repeat of last weeks script with the date changed. Plans just emphasise their vulnerability when they go wrong. Just forget the talk and win games. The rest is as mythical as Ian Evatt have a document marked "Cunning Plans" in his office files and as practical as files for "King Solomon's Mine and Treasure Island".

Come on you Whites.....

Both Williams and CMG are out on the pitch for a very early run about. So they won't be playing.

Didn't expect CMG to start, Williams has been in and out so I would've expected him to start at RWB.

Morley, Thomason and Randall looks a disastrous combination.
