We do need to do more to stop crosses coming in to our box. Our press needs to be so much better than it is currently, but that aside, no complaints today. Outstanding support from those that went

We beat a team in the top 6 with fight and endeavour.

When's the last time we beat a team ahead of us in the table?

Happy with performance. Didn't notice too much wang it round the back type fannying, with our 33% possession and it wasn't particularly painful - lets hope it fcuks off permanently. Defended decently, including the stellar watch the ball not the gap, and made one count. Lovely.
Yeah but mate - Evatt spent 4 seasons gaslighting people into believing we had no option. Clearly we did.
He wasn't the only one by a long chalk. Plenty of it about on social media....

I'm very happy for us to play a passing game but you have to be able to defend, and fight first, and be pragmatic with it, otherwise it's... well it's the last 12 months. I never want us to go back to the parky days though. Zero passing, zero skill, 11 behind the ball, urgh that's worse than Evatt ball. Hopefully the new manager can strike the right balance.

Aye Morais, Clough, Vela, etc. in L1 were all pretty shite and Parky is one goal for behind us currently - mind he's 20 goals against and 11 points better off...

Feels like one of those, we don't know how important these 3 points are type of game.

I hope the club appoint somebody soon and they hit the ground running as it looks like they've waited far too long to do something about the old management.

The fact that Jules has managed to slip in an expletive during the post match interviews just makes the day even better.

No more tippy tappy play from the back nonsense. I never want to see that again. It is the wrong type of football.

I mean why not? End of the season job. If the board think there are better targets available then.

Any appointment is a risk but Jules I think would do a job and then we could reassess. I don’t think we are going anywhere this season so it’s just a calculation as to what the board want or more accurately who. If that target isn’t readily available now we might have an in house fix till May.

Yep. Conditioned by modern football buzzwords and nonsense.

Really happy for Jules and for the players, who are capable of better than we've seen. Onwards and upwards now - get the right gaffer and start winning football games. Pull together as a club and start scoring points on the pitch.

Sounds like Jules and co will still be in charge for Tuesday. Hopefully he can get some sleep for then.

One of the rumours was new gaffer likely to be Feb. Who knows. I wouldn't give it Darby based on one game, I mean we have pages and pages discussing how much L1 managerial experience people have and need to get a team out of this league, 1 game would be a sure-fire no...

Darby’s not going to get the job, nor should he, but he should be on our staff for life if he wants.

Let's not giddy. We're a point off the play offs and there three or four really good options available now.

Delighted for him today, hope he can carry it on on Tuesday, but the sooner we get the new manager confirmed the better.

I mean it does depend on who it is. We’ve set the standard today for how we need to play.
