Yeah I suspect there is a contractural hitch of some sort. I’m not worried in the sense that Jules could carry on for as long as he wants in my view. It’s more the transfer window the bothers me.

Yeah I suspect there is a contractural hitch of some sort. I’m not worried in the sense that Jules could carry on for as long as he wants in my view. It’s more the transfer window the bothers me.

Any transfer activity will likely be around Markham's list of options already drawn up anyway - he's been too busy doing managerial search work the last week, or so we're told I'd have thought new bloke will be brought in on the basis that the current system for transfers remains with the only difference his green light and future inputs for searches will differ a bit from Evatt's. I'm also sure interview will have touched on what new bloke thinks is needed to fix what we have and can be cross referenced with Markham's list.

Yeah, I agree, if I was heading in as new manager, not sure I'd absolutley want to blow the entire tranfer kitty before the window shut anyhow.

At this point, he's probably got a free hit on the expectations front, might prefer to save his firepower for summer.

They have but that's because they identified thier man and did all they could to convince him to sign only to have him turn them down at the last minute.

I do remember it took an age to get the Evatt deal done, although I think that was mainly due to agreeing the compensation owed to Barrow (and I think it was, in relative terms, quite a minor figure).
