Aka “turnpike tapas”

Still not sure they were the wrong players. We recruited to a 343 the manager didn't know how to play, and the sacked off. Coincidentally (or not) the new guy has had plenty success playing that.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 7:59 pmLot of fans are unhappy and I can’t blame them entirely. However, what must be remembered is that whilst the board and Markham have made what I think can only be described as a complete horlicks of the last year or two - the real real issue was not binning Evatt off after Wembley.
Everything stems from there. And truly it’s probably for me one of the absolutely worst decisions anyone associated with Bolton wanderers has ever made. A manager flounced off after their own failure moaning about needing to ‘consider what the future would be’ and they still then didn’t bin him and instead handed him millions to spend on what clearly were the wrong players.
The damage was done then. Schumacher will fix it I’m sure. I just worry how long it might take.
Next few months will tell a lot. A lot rests on Vic or how soon Etete can get fit without Dion, for me. Let's see.

I think they were the wrong players. Expensive ones too. None have improved us. I hope Schuey gets more out of them but I still don’t think it will be enough.Prufrock wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 8:22 pmStill not sure they were the wrong players. Apropos of nothing, is Etete the first player we've signed that has a palindromic surname?

That could be right, could not be. It's going to fun again finding out though.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 8:28 pmI think they were the wrong players. Expensive ones too. I see the rumours of Sam Cosgrove being allowed out on loan has set a few people off

Lights still on at the stadium. So much for the energy saving plan...

I’d take Cosgrove for sure. Sort we need.
Re: In, Out, Shake It All About: January 2025 Transfer Window
I'd rather a midfielder. We still need to fit Lolos and CMG in somewhere.

I was going to put forth Derek Neven until I googled him. Sigh.GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 8:41 pmGiven the literacy rate in crazy corner I think a few would argue over "Nolon"...
