All so predictable. Very hard being a Whites supporter right now. Getting beaten all over the pitch. Just lucky we're only one down. We couldn't catch a bug in an epidemic, but hope isn't quite dead... :(

Schumacher earlier this week about facing Ainsworth:
In all the games I have coached against Gaz’s teams I don’t think one of them has been a great spectacle. I’ve never enjoyed watching a single one of them back. But it doesn’t matter to me as long as you get the result you want, and to do that you need your players to understand what is coming, how we handle it, and how we can implement our plan to get a good result.
Time to do just that, Steven. COYWM.

Bit pathetic that half.

McAtee and Collins hasn't worked and I fear will never work.

Schumacher was not happy on 30ish mins when the camera was on him. Maybe he's getting a taste of how can they play like this after the week of training we've had.

Good thing is we're only 1 down. Tutu and Schon surely will make an appearance. Johnston or Murphy off and we get more down their left. Jones is trying but he needs the ball in front of him.

If anyone can put their finger on what the issue is then they'll be extremely popular with the fans.
Pretty much this - with Dion and Vic when we were flying, everyone sorta seemed to know what to do, sure we hollered at some misses, it then became a bit flakier with Collins (not a criticism of him) and Dion got injured. But then we added McAtee to the mix - I really don't think it was thought through. At one level "look we could go 433" great, but that's a paper option, only counts, if you can actually get the 3 playing for each other...

He can and no doubt will change things. But he’s got an attack costing the best part of three million that he didn’t sign that are disinterested and powderpuff. Which leaves him struggling- can talk tactics all day long but players that cost that have to get a grip take responsibility and grip the game on and off the ball.

It's just terrible up top.

We're playing with Collins, McAtee and Randall. All three look like confidence players and I would imagine should they be fully confident they'd be doing really well. As it stands, none of them are really doing well, nor are they looking like they're putting the effort in to actually change it.

It's the same problem that we had under Evatt, and Evatt was right to call it out that a different manager won't fix it, but we should be seeing improvement. I suspect that there's a scenario playing out where the players are thinking it's not working so I won't really try.

We need a few of those players that grab others and get them performing. Nolan was one of those types. I don't get the impression that Randall is that type.

Standards have dropped and we're missing the character in the squad to lift it.

I didn't particularly feel enthused that this season is going to amount to anything and I suspect that players are feeling the same. Hence the half assed performance today.

I'd sack off the constant squad rotation, let a few of those know that the position is theirs to lose and make them all work for it. The players don't need minutes at this stage (Forino the exception).

McAtee, again, caught in two minds instead of releasing it down the right. Shrewsbury reset we lose the ball.

Randall needs taking off. I though Josh Sheehan struggled defending but this lads on another level.

Another yellow card not given. How is yanking someone back by the neck as they're attacking not?

Ball is about 4ft in front of McAtee - great chance apparently. Not sure what they are smoking.

I would define that as neither a "huge chance" nor a "great ball"

In hilarious news elsewhere, Posh losing at Stevenage and thus only out of the drop zone on goal difference

Indeed - not just that but he's 4ft wide of the goal AND behind a defender
