No welcome in the Hillsides. Away to Wrexham Sat 1 March 12-30.

Won't last, not least as Orient play Charlton and they can't both get nowt, but just to prove there isn't a forcefield:

Down to 8th (on GD) as it stands at half time in the 3pm kick offs. Orient 0-0 Charlton, which suits us.

If Uddersfield could draw or lose too then today would be a good day.

Draggem, Shove-em, Hackem and Jumpon-em )(Welsh) managed also to play some good football and create shooting chances. We need a bit of work on preventing those as we can expect more from others in this league.. A great away point but it's all very tight. Well done the lads.

Charlton equalising in injury time pushes us down a bit but I'll take it

Rest not doing so good - Hudds, Stockport, Reading all winning, albeit each only by the odd goal in three

Results not ideal for us today. Stockport and reading both trailed and both ended up winning. Stockport lucky not to be two down at half time as Blackpool cracked one off the post that ran back across the goal.

Right in it but it’s going to be a real scrap till the end of the season. Wish we had another striker.

Yeah, funny as Orient exploding is, a draw woulda been better there. But if it makes them drop off, that's one fewer to worry about. We've already leapt over them - they're a point behind us from a game more.

As you say, Charlton, Hudds and Stockport stretched 2pts ahead of us today, while Reading and Barnsley got 2pts closer - but still none of them are on better last-six form than us. Tuesday a tough game, but we're in reasonable shape and we're getting more options back all the time (barring poor old Vic).

All teams above and around us will not all lose on each week. Its going to be an exciting run in. Most will win, some will draw, not many will lose.

Consistency will be key and the ability to keep your team fresh. Those teams that set the pace early will be hard press to keep it going to the end without a strong squad. We have players returning that will make us fresher than most as we saw with Carlos today. Cant wait for Dempsay to join in.

Autos seem too far away, but the playoffs are a strong possiblity regardless of what happens against the Brums, a game I think we can get a result.

A game I’d be confident we’d have lost under Evatt, so further evidence of the Schuey renaissance.

Wrexham’s pitch is a disgrace, and Parky is the ultimate long ball merchant, so there was very little chance we were going to look good today. Still, we’re a resilient bunch these days, aren’t we?

I’m a long standing holder of Will Forrester stock, and it’s really paying off for me right now. Perhaps the pound-for-pound best centre back in the league.

I do worry if Santos gets "better".

Judging from the comments about him from Schumacher today he sounds still a way off and relatively likely to exit end of the season.

I wouldn’t be shocked if we don’t see him on the pitch in a Bolton shirt again. Wouldn’t be shocked if we did either just for balance. But I think it’s possible he’s done here now.

Aye, but it's just one game and although we'll never get neat catching them, the three points could be priceless. Que Sera etc *halo*

Schuey doesn’t seem the type to pick on reputation.

I don’t think centre back is a huge area of concern at present, but a fully fit Santos would be another great option to have.

Indeed, on the subject of Rico he said…

“There are lads in the side that have won five out of the last six, so it isn’t easy to say because someone’s fit again they drop straight into the team. It doesn’t matter if it’s Ricardo or anyone else. You saw with Aaron Collins at the weekend - he was left out of the starting line-up because we felt at the time that it was the best decision.

“Players always have the earn their way back in and if the team is performing and earning results then there might not be a need to change things.”

The Chesterfield - Crewe highlights are worth checking out for a very good Max Conway goal. I suspect Schuey will be taking a good look at him in pre-season, regardless of the division we’re in.

Start around 45 seconds in:

.
Given his contract is up this summer but we have an extension option, and given he's overage next season so he'd take a squad slot, I would hope the coaching staff are looking at him this season. Scout a Crewe game to see if "one of our own" can make the grade. Clearly harder for him if we do manage to sneak up but it'd be lovely to have the option - and it's not like we're awash with left-backs, let alone ones who also seem happy at LWB.
