Playing a Blinder. At home to the Peakies, Tues Mar 4th 19-45.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

McAtee scored a great goal. He hit it well and surprised the keeper as well as myself. Collins would not have received that pass if he tried to make it. The defender was covering the angle. Watching the game back, McAtee worked his socks off all game. He deserves a lot of credit as does the supporting cast of JDC, Morley and Forino. They were also outstanding.
^ This. He also negated any chance of Collins being offside. Top class goal all the way. :oyea:

BBC Manc interview with Schumacher shows some of his working-out.
We left him [Josh Sheehan] out for tactical reasons. We felt it was George Thomason's type of game with the pressing we were going to do and the running power that George brings. To leave such a good player out is not an easy call. Obviously he's not going to be happy but he understood that it was for the best interests of the team.

We pick starting XIs based on what we think is going to be the best team to give us a chance to win the game and also what sort of lads and impact people coming off the bench can have. That's what we'll continue to do, it won't be the same starting XI for every game from now until the end of the season because that's not possible. You have to use the whole squad when you've got a strong squad.

Four times we've come from behind and won so it shows good character, it shows the lads keep going. They don't let a bit of adversity get to them and they're going to need that to continue because there will certainly be more games between now and the end of the season where we concede first.

Both clubs charged by the FA for the late handbags.

Wanderers and Birmingham City have both been charged by the FA following the “mass confrontation” during the final stages at the Toughsheet Community Stadium last week... Both clubs have been given until Wednesday, March 12 to respond to their respective charges.

So, we might get an invoice for it sometime in June then
