Forino’s height feels beneficial to me. I expect Schon to play. Sheehan. System? Who knows. Wouldn’t shock me if Murphy came back in also.The_Gun wrote: ↑Sat Mar 08, 2025 8:29 amI’d probably go for the same lineup as Tuesday but with Forrester in for Forino and Sheehan in for Thomason. My suspicion is that a few others may not have fully recovered, though, so I’m anticipating more changes.
The weather’s been relatively clement of late, so I’m hoping Burton’s pitch isn’t a ploughed field like Wrexham’s. On a reasonably sound service I think we win, possibly quite comfortably.

Time to play "Is that 5-3-2 or 4-3-3?" again.

I like that even we can’t tell what formation we are playing.

Anyone know anything about Johnston's injury? Terrible news if it's serious.

Maybe it's both? I can see that the personnel on the pitch could suit either formation. Maybe we'll start one way then if it doesn't work switch to the other one? There was an interview with Southwood in the BN and he mentioned how they are switching things up mid game.

Back three is how they are warming up according to Mr Iles.

Johnston a big miss, and Murphy a poor replacement.

Could be toughest game under Schuey yet this. Feels tough to me. Fighting history. Big test for this team - we dealt with our problems against the top 6 but can we do it at Burton on a sunny Saturday?
Re: Living La Vida Loca..Away to Burton on Toast, Sat 8th March 3-0'clock
Now now, there was a time when people were saying the same thing about Forrester.
It's nice to see Schuey mixing it up. There's more than enough quality out there to get a result today and we should be putting these to the sword.
It's going to be tough as is the case with these sort of bogey teams. It's a bogey pitch and no doubt that'll be playing on the players mind.
Regardless of the result, i'm expecting a performance. Come on Bolton!
Back to back wins in today's and Tuesday's fixture will put us in the top 6 leapfrogging Stockport just in time for a 6 pointer against Stockport.

Pitch already looks not great to me. Bobbly to say the least.
Re: Living La Vida Loca..Away to Burton on Toast, Sat 8th March 3-0'clock
Opposition working hard out of possession, as you'd suspect, clear tactic of punt long and chase.
Not that i'm complaining, just makes it a little bit harder of a challenge when we can't just rock up and have the opposition sitting off us.

Great tackle, 1-2 and long ball from McAtee there. Quality play.
Would have to say Burton have started better than we have. Hopeful balls into our final third from them.
We've not managed to get any sort of headway in their final third.

Dare I say it has a little bit of a feel of after the Lord Mayors show about it.
Burton are setup very very well in fairness. Jumping onto our midfield very effectively.

Was always going to be tough to get their performance levels back up after that Birmingham performance. There's probably still an element of fatigue or injury after the levels that they put in.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Mar 08, 2025 3:22 pmDare I say it has a little bit of a feel of after the Lord Mayors show about it.

Lovely goal by Morley, captain Thomason at it again. Good to see him back performing to his best.
