Couldn't see Randall in the end celebrations; shame if he's a misfit with the dressing room, and all because of a percentage of fans. Hope he comes back stronger.
Re today; it's hard to make a win somehow feel like a loss, yet we managed it with me. We rarely (if ever) beat a man one on one, yet persist in playing "me and my shadow" with decent quick wingers. Getting to the play-offs is one thing, winning it is another entirely. Way to go yet...
Oh, our keeper is diceing with death with time wasting. He'll get done if he persists...

We need to decide, do we want pretty football or 3 points?

As we don't live in an ideal world then three points all day long.irie Cee Bee wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 7:14 pmWe need to decide, do we want pretty football or 3 points?
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

Randall wasn’t picked. And didn’t make it on as a sub either.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 7:02 pmCouldn't see Randall in the end celebrations; shame if he's a misfit with the dressing room, and all because of a percentage of fans. Hope he comes back stronger.

We won. We were good enough to win. No, it wasn't a classic game. But we weren't playing brilliantly and still got the win. That's the mark of a good side, or so I thought.
Rotherham are 15 points behind us. They're nothing to be scared of.

It’s tiredness for me that hurts us and injuries next few games.

Hard to disagree with this. Forrester going down might prove to be the straw that broke the camel’s back, unless Santos or Toal become available again very soon.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 8:15 pmIt’s tiredness for me that hurts us and injuries next few games.

I'm in the "spare me," camp. Why would we be more tired than any other team?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 8:15 pmIt’s tiredness for me that hurts us and injuries next few games.

We aren’t but I think we are more vulnerable than others given the injuries we’ve had the fact we are having to use some players repeatedly without rest and ultimately that we have more pressure than some of the teams we will face which can make it harder on top.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 10:34 pmI'm in the "spare me," camp. I think really what I’m saying is we’ve got a large squad but the quality is shallow. And we’ve now got two crucial areas, up front and in defence with a serious lack of numbers.

No news on how bad Forrester’s injury is? And is Toal still a few weeks off?

No news but I will be absolutely stunned if Forrester plays again this season. Lad was clearly in a lot of pain and distraught. It’s a massive shame as he’s been excellent. A real blow.
Hopefully Toal is not too far off.
I do wonder in the circumstances whether we will have to gamble on santos? I mean what is there to lose?
Re: Pirates off the starboard bow. Home to Bristol Sat 5th April 3-0 'clock.
A fit Santos would be a real asset, although I’m not sure him and Forino would be natural fits together in a three. Given he wasn’t even in the squad yesterday, I’m not sure I have much faith in him being ready to contribute for at least the next couple of games.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 7:41 amNo news but I will be absolutely stunned if Forrester plays again this season. I understand Santos has signed a pre-contract agreement with an Italian club. He’s been fit for a while but Schumacher is reluctant to play him because of his attitude in training.
Gethin Jones has signed a pre-contract agreement with an Aussie club but I think that’s common knowledge by now.

Huh, that’s interesting if true. I guess we won’t be seeing Santos again then.enrdentw wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 8:49 amI understand Santos has signed a pre-contract agreement with an Italian club. He’s been fit for a while but Schumacher is reluctant to play him because of his attitude in training.

The rumour was that he was looking for a move down to London for family reasons.

Jesus mate. What's wrong with you?? This is a rumour (that may or may not turn out to be true). You can't wait to have a go at him can you..........BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 9:10 amShithousing till the end then.enrdentw wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 8:49 amI understand Santos has signed a pre-contract agreement with an Italian club. I was literally before that suggesting he should be brought back in. Nobody knows why he’s not being selected but he is fit and available I'm told.dave the minion wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 9:30 amJesus mate. What's wrong with you?? Whether this is true or not he won’t be remembered fondly.
