Trouble at't Mill(ers". At home to Rotherham, Tuesday 8th Apr. 19-45.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

I kind of agree, though it's pace rather than "target man" we lack for me. Though one of each would be perfect.

Or maybe we could get a L1 Drogba :D

*Waits for DSB to arrive screaming "it was a joooooooke"*
Yeah. I think apart from maybe LSL, you have to let Schumacher have some headroom. Let's call it "trust in the process." :-)

Schumacher saying what I’ve said for two years. It’s hugely frustrating that the previous ‘manager’ insisted it wasn’t the case and that if we keep doing what we are doing we’d see success. Clearly that was not the case. A repeated flaw is something that needs fixing. Not pretending it’s just luck.
How many other games this season have we had 28 shots in? I’m positive that Schumacher would be delighted if we turned that kind of performance in every week.
It’s a running theme with this side. We don’t make our possession count nearly enough. And you can go through the games where we have created a number of clear chances not taken them and ended up losing or drawing..

Obviously Rotherham was an extreme version but as Schumacher says it’s not luck it’s a pattern and we need to change players who will be more efficient. This squad lacks killer instinct in many areas. Schumacher is simply stating it. Good.

but we're very much in the same territory as Evatt was touting. Doesn't matter if we change the manager,
Evatt never was short of an opinion but he was hoisted by his own petard with that one. "You can't expect anyone else to do something with this weak willed, under performing bunch I've recruited!"
Definitely.

Complaining about something he's setup is probably more a critique of his recruitment than the players themselves. As a coach he was supposed to nurture the style of play and mentality that he wanted.

Fair enough if a part time manager comes in and says it with a team he's not constructed, but when he's been involved with all parts of the club for a significant time its a bit of a joke.
