Yorkshire Relish. Away to Barnsley Sat Apr 12th 3-0'clock.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

That should've been 3-0 to Barnsley.

Matete has been a stand out player so far for us.

Matete makes some shocking decisions, but he does show what having a midfielder with a bit of pace and athleticism can bring.

ITS WHAT WE DO BEST.

We're down to 8th. Leyton Orient ahead of us. Reading still not winning.

Got confused and thought he was meant to be clearing it?

It looks like a defensive clearance.

In his defence, its an awkward angle. Outside of the boot hit required whilst shrugging off their defender.

Still, we're 64 mins in and still no shot on target.

Lolos on to save the day…sums it up. Dempsey said we needed to win all 5 remaining. We couldn’t score three here if we had five games let alone 25 minutes.

Trevor Morgan was better than McAtee.

What even are Macatee and Collins? I can't work them out they're not strikers that's for sure, they're not 10s, they're not target men.

Free kick, dangerous area, I know says Dempsey, let’s hit the first man at knee height. Useless. Absolutely useless.

Of course Tutu is injured. Captain hamstring.

Down to 10 men. He's literally played 23 minutes on the right wing and it's destroyed him.

Edit: left thigh.

Santos off for Lolos. Thought Santos did well after the defensive switch aroo.

We could definitely benefit from getting someone like Connell in. That foul on Osei-Tutu was definitely required in our match vs Rotherham.

Oh FFS. Osei-Tutu now going to be out for a long time. Doesn't look good going down off the ball.

With 5 defeats in 7, we don't deserve to be anywhere near the playoffs quite frankly

Our man taken out by Connell there, the man we should have spent the million on, rather than another lightweight number ten Randall.

Indeed this was going to be my point. People keep saying we have a chance of promotion but the team have proven decisively otherwise. 5 defeats in 7 at this level for Bolton Wanderers in any circumstances is simply unacceptable. I don’t care how you dress it up. Same every season. When it matters this lot wilt.

3-0. Massive summer. Need 14-15 in, I hope the new director of football is ready and they have their lists.
