It’s all over and has been since Rotherham. So no point worrying. It’s about assessing for next season now. Schumacher can’t say it - but I suspect everyone in the squad and he have more or less accepted it.

Tell you what; let's shock everybody and win.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 11:45 amlost most weeks that we've said that. I see today being no different.

I very much doubt that any of our staff or players have accepted that. We’re still only three points back.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 11:45 amIt’s all over and has been since Rotherham. Some of our players don't appear to have much fight in em, no point in us supporters giving up too. Blind, ridiculous optimism is sometimes all we have as Wanderers fans. 5-1 win

Joel Randall definitely not in the squad. He's a late arrival.
Word is that Sharples-Ahmed, Inwood and Abimbola are all in the running for a place in the squad.

Just me and the toddler at home this afternoon so I may connect the laptop to the TV and let him watch, though I do fear it’s tantamount to child abuse.

Wouldn't blame him if he has. Spectators sit on benches, footballers play football.

I mean yeah, I would blame him if he has, but there’s been no indication of that.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 2:24 pmYou wouldn’t blame him if he has? Dear me. Cost a million quid. I suspect there is an element of being resigned to their fate. Using the indicator of the Rotherham performance as the biggest clue they can be given.The_Gun wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 12:42 pmI very much doubt that any of our staff or players have accepted that. Add into that injuries for Sheehan, Morley, Randall, Toal, Forrester, etc.
We can all acknowledge that we're not out of it mathematically, but we're dreaming if we're thinking we can overturn it. Especially if we lose today.

3 points back with a massive injury list, goal difference against and the possibility of us winning 4 games is more or less non existent. It’s done.The_Gun wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 12:42 pmI very much doubt that any of our staff or players have accepted that. I don’t think most professional athletes share your mentality.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 2:52 pm3 points back with a massive injury list, goal difference against and the possibility of us winning 4 games is more or less non existent.
