Here Wycombe again. At home to the other Wanderers. V the high flyers, Friday 18th Apr, 3-0 Clock.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

I love it when we play with a midfield that tackles.

Tell you what Mr Baxter, why not try kicking a couple straight down the middle instead of row 6.
Yeah kick it straight down the middle to Lolos…can’t see an issue….errrr….

Surely Abimbola up front instead of Lolos can't be any worse, at least he'll try and look interested.

McAtee needs coaching to play a specific role. If it’s up top, he needs to learn to stay disciplined positionally and stay onside, to attack the near/back post, and hold it up; if it’s just behind, he needs to learn to make space for others, to pass with pace and accuracy, to be decisive at the edge of the box. He’s got diluted puddles of each facet. It’s an awful lot to perfect, but it can be halved if he has a set position.

We’ve played some neat stuff, but, again, that final ball isn’t perfectly weighted, the cross doesn’t beat the first man, Collins isn’t finding the corners (this time from half-chances admittedly). Not been a fan of Lolos, but his physicality has engendered a minuscule improvement. Won some headers and held the ball up for a second or two. It’s just what comes after. Keep it simple, lad: out your feet if you can, shoot or lay it off. Backheels only good if you can also pass a yard.

And just as you type this he backheels one out of play for a goal kick.

McAtee tries doing too much randomness. There's not enough of the simple part of his game. Too many flicks and tricks not coming off.

Forino turned too easily on that attack for Wycombe. Good cover by Murphy.

Ever so pleased Schuey told us we were going to move the ball forward quicker - who'd have known ?

No surprise there. We haven't been able to defend basic crosses all season.

Might as well head it in your own net Collins if you're going to do that.

Also puts us on zero goal difference and, well, yeah. Or rather "no".
