Can't fault them for effort today. This has been better, deserves 3 points.

I was just doing Jurassic park quotes. But yep it is and I’d swap with Wrexham in a heartbeat even if they lose today.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 4:48 pmPressure is a privilege, and all that...BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 4:43 pmWrexham will be like ‘we are being hunted’.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 4:41 pmImagine if Charlton do win this teatime at Wrexham...

McAtee is dreadful. I don’t know if I can beat another season with him here.

That’s a good result in the circumstances - sadly a meaningless one but still. Could have got battered and didn’t. Great day for those who have made their professional debuts. Brilliant for them.

Lots to like about that. Good balance. Some better performances from the fringe lot against 12.
Special mention for Inwood who I thought did very well. Did himself no harm. Forino motm for me.

Well, we stop our successive losses and get a draw.
Referee's inability to play fair again the game changer. Two penalties for them, disallowed goal and a not given penalty for us.
It's better.
Inwood can get the MOTM for me. Didn't look out of place.

Cardiff relegated.
Burton back in front - if they hold on, it all but relegates Crawley and Bristol Rovers.

Blimey - nervous times for Preston all of a sudden. Could easily see Luton get a point at WBA. No idea if Hull can do something at Pompey — point might be enough. But Bristol City have something to play for….Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 5:05 pmScreenshot 2025-04-26 at 17.02.50.png

One thing I will say. I don't want to watch a Bolton Wanderers team where that Mothersille walks off the pitch. Still too soft.
Though maybe some mitigation given the ref managed to book 9 players in a game that contained one bad tackle.

• Bristol City finally in the playoffs in their 10th season since promotion - they're unikely to ease up, although they may seize up.
• West Brom have gone very bitter and angry - Mowbray's second coming turned to shite - unlikely to be a positive atmosphere.
• Whereas Pompey - man they love Mousinho and their team, and why not. Could be in flipflops but will also be celebrating.
You can imagine early goals for Leeds and Pompey killing the drama. "Disgrace of Gijon" scenes at Derby-Stoke.

Much better today. More organized. Forino (MoTM) and Inwood played really well. Thomo and Matete worked well in midfield and Randall had his best game for us and is hopefully settling in for a good next season. Schon did ok too. Ref did us no favors, and that second penalty was a joke. They missed 2 sitters but McAtee should have put away at least one of his chances.
Schuey should be pleased with the point and I hope we can end the season on a winning note.

What a job Parky has done at Wrexham. Came to Wrexham a year after Evatt joined us.
Non league. Now will be in the championship.
An absolutely superb manager and one Evatt isn’t fit to lick the bottom of the boots of.
His side have to be what we try and emulate next season. You have to be physical, solid and robust in this league. And have real goal threat. They have everything. Yes they’ve spent money. So did we. Yes I’ve no doubt they had a bigger budget. But point still stands - 3 promotions in a row is incredible under any circumstances.

What came first the thought of praising Parkinson for the job he's done at Wrexham or the desire to take a swipe at Evatt?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 7:16 pmWhat a job Parky has done at Wrexham. Came to Wrexham a year after Evatt joined us.

The guys left the club. Our season is all but over. Time to move on to better, healthier thoughts.
Credit to Parkinson. Hell of a job he's doing

Both. The comparison was often made. There are not light years but whole universes between them as managers.Mar wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 7:31 pmWhat came first the thought of praising Parkinson for the job he's done at Wrexham or the desire to take a swipe at Evatt?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 7:16 pmWhat a job Parky has done at Wrexham. The fact many were sucked in by such an obvious charlatan still annoys me. Yes we move on but the failures of that period will linger a long time if we can’t find a formula for success next season on what I expect will be a limited budget after Evatt blew the Crown Jewels.
Can’t stand the bloke or the kids who think that sort of ‘pure football’ nonsense is the way forward.
Next season I want us to be Wrexham. Big, strong, incredibly hard to beat. Threat. All the little technical wonders need to go.

Missed this one, but encouraged by some of what I’ve read on here.
What level do people think Inwood is up to playing next season?

Can't tell after just one game, but he was very good today. Its improvement and consistency that will tell his level over the next few years. Will he be consistent 7 performer or a 8 today and a 4 tomorrow player? Time will tell but he looked the part today. Seems like an intelligent player who reads the game well.
