Good enough that a League 2 side might take him on loan and give him game time?irie Cee Bee wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 8:09 pmCan't tell after just one game, but he was very good today. Its improvement and consistency that will tell his level over the next few years. Will he be consistent 7 performer or a 8 today and a 4 tomorrow player? Time will tell but he looked the part today. Seems like an intelligent player who reads the game well.

He wasn't perfect by any means but he did well, was good on the ball, and stood up to it. Couple of important tackles and also got stuck in, didn't look overawed. Hopefully he can get out and play next year.

Both. The comparison was often made. There are not light years but whole universes between them as managers.
The fact many were sucked in by such an obvious charlatan still annoys me. Yes we move on but the failures of that period will linger a long time if we can’t find a formula for success next season on what I expect will be a limited budget after Evatt blew the Crown Jewels.
Can’t stand the bloke or the kids who think that sort of ‘pure football’ nonsense is the way forward.
Next season I want us to be Wrexham. Big, strong, incredibly hard to beat. Threat. All the little technical wonders need to go.
Probably annoys you almost as much as it annoys the rest of us on here constantly having to read about what you think of a manager who is no longer here. Over and over and over and over and over and over again....
We get it. You don't like him. Fine. But christ, let go of the ridiculous anger will you, and if you can't, at least please can you stop spouting about it on here all the time

Big this. We've just lost a pile of games that Evatt had nothing to do with. Move on...

Not much wrong with losing to a good side (particularly one helped by bad officials). No point in beating bad sides 10-0. We are who we are and have what we have, and yesterday with a dozen injured first team players, it was no disgrace to take an away point. Quite the opposite, in fact.
