M4 motorway, that is all.
It's out in the sun for all to sit on.

Oh and Worthy will be glad to know that in the division below, playoff-chasing Salford are absolutely stacking it - 2-0 down at relegated Carlisle.

A little confused as to why Schuey says he wants width then plays the incredibly left-footed Schon on the right of a 4231
Re: Pointing the way. Stevenage at home Sat, 3rd May 3-0'clock
It's starting positions rather than 90s chalk on your boots. With the 352 anything on transitions and their back 4 can just go v narrow, nothing through or in behind. Wingers gives you those gaps. I mean Mo Salah has a league 2 right foot but he defo gives width.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 3:33 pmA little confused as to why Schuey says he wants width then plays the incredibly left-footed Schon on the right of a 4231

Got a big jump on him too, for a little un does Szabi, fancy him to get a couple of Stelios like headers at the back stick.

Genuinely the first tackle I remember Randall making in a white shirt and it was on Collins about to put us in ffs

Hmm. And what's the thinking when he dribbles five yards inside, bumps into a team-mate (usually McAtee), turns towards his own goal and passes it backwards?Prufrock wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 3:38 pmIt's starting positions rather than 90s chalk on your boots. I get that inverted 'wingers' works if you have overlapping full-backs. We don't, or at least not today. I'm bored of watching us turn inside and not create.

I'd like to like him (and we definitely have less likeable players) but I remain to be convinced. Not the first priority though...

Fair, though my read atm is this is the ideal shape now, we'll fit in who's available and who's trained well enough to get a goodbye. I'm not sure it's "3 points at all costs".Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 3:45 pmHmm. We need stacks of new players in the summer. I really hope I don't have to watch Macatee, Randall and Collins next season they're dreadful.

Twitter seems to be blaming Jones, Randall, McAtee, Jones, Schon, Collins, Inwood and Jones.
Re: Pointing the way. Stevenage at home Sat, 3rd May 3-0'clock
Effort levels are there from Schon this season.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 3:46 pmI'd like to like him (and we definitely have less likeable players) but I remain to be convinced. Not the first priority though...
Definitely good to have around. Even if there's no clear use for him positionally. Man for most spots.
Re: Pointing the way. Stevenage at home Sat, 3rd May 3-0'clock
Could be 3 up.
We're not and nearly shot ourselves in the foot with Jones trying to challenge Inwood for a header, Youthful ignorance to think you have too much time in the box and not expect the striker to close it down.
Going to need that extra month to sort this out I think. Can't have McAtee up top offering less than Charles gave.

It’s been pretty awful. Created three absolute sitters and missed them all.
Honestly I don’t think I’d miss any of these players one single bit.
I rather suspect Schumacher feels the same. Doesn’t mean he has the ability to get shot of them all but if he could I think he would.
Edit: Inwood and Johnstone have done well. Give credit where it’s due.
