. I'm amazed anyone has appointed him once!
I meant Colleen.

Interesting rumour knocking about that Cardiff are in for Nathan Jones. That’d certainly upset the locals in my neck of the woods.

Yeah that's an eyebrow-raiser. TBF he was born in the valleys and started in Cardiff's youth team, but he's just got promotion back to the second tier. As you say, it'd be a slap in the face for the Addicks, especially to join a volatile club like Cardiff. Took Jones a couple of windows to turn Charlton round (they were 14th in mid-December) - would he get that at Cardiff?
I'm sure he'll just ask himself what Jesus would do.

He’s a good manager. I don’t think it would be anything but bad news for us if he ended up back down here.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 2:21 pmYeah that's an eyebrow-raiser. Can’t see it unless there is some background turmoil at Charlton as they have as much potential as Cardiff and are a league higher. I fully expect jones to take them to somewhere close to the premiership within a few seasons.
