T&T v England

Post by americantrotter » Mon Jun 12, 2006 9:21 pm

Hopefully we'll rebound. With Crouch on a yellow and no other fit strikers we need some early goals to settle the nerves. Although unless the defensive prowees for T&T changes this game could be ugly for us.

PS. Anyone recommend any good news sites for England news?

It will be typical England.

Score within first 10mins then have a shocking 80mins.

I think we'll win, but not comprenshively. 2-0 Crouch, Lampard.

I went for 2-0 as well. I have no idea who will score though.

I think we'll see a different performance than Saturday. I expect both teams to be up for this match. T&T are really going to go all out to beat us while we've got a point to prove regarding our poor quality from the last game.

What are people doing for the match, skiving off work? Finishing at 4.50pm and pegging it to the pub? Watching online in the office? Doing a likely lads and taping it avoiding the score and getting home to watch it "as live"???????????

I think I've just discovered my first benefit of running my own business in Blair's Britain. (Mind you, I'll have to give myself a good bollocking later for skiving off!)

Getting excited about this now...I'm going home at three.

Should be a good game - I expect T&T to play like this is their world cup final which I reckon will be just the kick up the arse that the England plyers need.

Disaster I have a netball match at 6.30 have they not heard of the World Cup??

Leaving work at 4.25 and going to watch in the pub in my netball kit (oh the shame and embarrasement) will have to leave about 6.15pm so have sky + the match for when I get home...

I hope that it's 6-0 to us by the time we have to leave :D
