This amazingly religious opening sequence the BBC use really pisses me off. ITV and Gabby all the way for me.

Agreed.

BBC too smug and serious. ITV for me.

Oh, forgot the Ian Wright factor-----definitely ITV.

I noticed on Poland-Ecuador that Stuart Pearce, sitting next to Sam commented on how Ecuador's first came from a set piece (throw). Sam seemed to try to ignore that.
Probably had a fair bit of banter nd a laugh about aftershow i reckon though

ITV could have every single pundit in the world and leave BBC with Mark Lawrenson hosting, being a pundit, commentator and colour commentator, and I'd still choose BBC soley for them enabling me to watch the games at work.

the BBC, for a mutitude of reasons.

one great reason being the fact there are no adverts - no James Nesbitt fouling on my TV Screen about a People kharriorh.

People get too excited about adverts. Just use the time to line up another can...

The answer is obviously BBC - as I'm watching the game at home without a TV. (And no adverts!)

That said, the internet has its drawbacks. With the delay and pixellation I had Ronaldinho buck teeth hanging in mid air, far after the rest of his body had left the scene.

Anyone else think that Emerson cudda/shudda been sent off for two yellas?

Can anyone advise who the chappie was in the studio with Gary Lineker, Wrighty and Alan Hansen during the Brazil v Croatia game??

The TV was on in the pub, but the sound was off and we were just a bit curious.

Thanks

No, not at all... You've got me all wrong... I was just interested in the points he was raising, that's all.

Funnily enough I flicked over to check out their match coverage a day or so ago. It's a bit like ITVs but instead of Gaby Logan they have a 1970s VW camper van. Weird.

I can't stand Lawrenson and Motty anymore. The combination of Lawrenson and the excruciatingly boring football while Sven and Steve played noughts and crosses made today's game almost unbearable.

Agreed. I preferred ITV's "Premiership" and I prefer ITV's World Cup coverage.

Both are shocking, I think we've been spoiled by Sky's excellent coverage of the Premiership in recent years. If I had to choose it would be the beeb. At least they try to offer an insight into the tactical part of the game, they also have the better pundits with Hansen back on form. I haven't seen Gordon Strachan on recently, he is excellent.

I imagine he raised two points particularly with you.

ITV for me, can't stand Lawrenson how does he get a job summarising, he's so dull, Lineker is sickingly smug and I seem to be the only one who can't stand O'Neill, bloke is up his own arse.
