Spain resort to type

Post by communistworkethic » Mon Jun 19, 2006 9:24 pm

Well it only took 2 games but Spain have already gone off the boil!

What do you reckon to that Jaidi bloke for Tunisia, looks fantastic. He could be a great signing at centre-half!!

Not even two games!

They played so well in their first game that I think it went to their heads.

Jaidi has played surprisingly well considering there hasn't been that many balls in the air.

Looked like he'd knocked off early for the evening.

I have to say that Spain looked a real threat once Fabregas came on, but Jaidi was ball-watching for their first, and was caught flat footed for their second.

Think we're being harsh on the lad. Pulled off a great tackle on in the box on Torres ( I think ).
The first to goals. Keeper should have parried it safety and as for the second!!!!!!! Keeper went awol.

Be interesting to see how Jaidi copes with the Shev in the next game.
If I should die, think only this of me:
That there's some corner of a foreign field
That is for ever England

Don't you use the phrase 'to heat up' in Blighty, Batty? We do, and something just off the boil would be more than warm I suspect. My good neighbors to the south also say "things are hotting up" but that is a little OTT for me.
