Half time should have been easy last night as well - keep it up! The first half was our best of the tournament so far.

i think that's what's frustrating a lot of people. Sven's half time team talks must be a lot to be desired because too often we take the foot off the gas. I disagree that our team talk should have consisted of keep it up. it should have been, "here's what i expect the volvos to do, here's how to deal with it. we've got a different man up front but stick to the game plan and keep giving it joseph to attack their right back. make sure we don't concede. if a ball comes in the box, get your chuffing head on it"

5months out for Owen apparently fingers crossed Rooney and Crouch stay fit and well-behaved. I agree including Walcott was a bizarre choice, but give the lad a chance, he may surprise us. Anyway, Defoe is shit so i dont see how bringing him would have been better

Well it's a ruptured ACL, so anything from 6 months to end of his career and Newscastle lose £12million, hope they got good insurance.

I think it is very poor managerial skills. I think what Bobo said earlier is spot on. I really don't get some of the people on here who say Crouch is good. He scored a goal against T n T, I know that is what he is there for but apart from that I have to say he was embarrasing. I just don't get him. As for Theo, Sven said "we have Theo Walcott who we haven't seen yet" .....why not, surely we could have brought him on against T n T for 10 minutes, if he hasn't used him in the group stages is he going to use him in the knock outs?
