Knew it. 80 million on Sunderland, don't be silly.

£10 million buy out, rumors of 6 million transfer kitty. Which I think is a bit optimistic.
In fairness, I never said I knew all the facts and figures. The earliest reported figure was 80,000,000 GBP, I will admit but then, I can hardly be held accountable if Murray only wanted a total of 5.6 Million for his shares now can I?!?!.

The 6 Million is well below the figure being touted around here...especially given the fact we're prepared to spend 3 Million a year to get Martin O'Neill as manager for 3 years...

However, what ever is...is. I'm just glad this saga is over. Onwards and upwards I would hope.

I think 3 million a year on a quality manager like O neill and his backroom staff would be well worth it. He's proven at all levels with Wycombe Leicester Celtic. But if he would want to take such a step down from Celtic to a Championship side would be the clincher.

He's a lifelong Sunderland fan, so that MIGHT influence his decision....

Funny idea of the crack you lot. A bit of harmless banter fine. But posting a multitude of pointless one liners in various threads to entertain yourselves is hardly the way to get the best out of other people. If you like that kind of shite then may I suggest 606?

Before you lot joined today the most we had on line was about 82 I think. We had about 720ish members and of them about we have in the region of about 150ish regular members and posters. Not bad for a small club like ours, eh Marra?

We tend to get far more traffic (in the '000's) on the front page.

hey now marra we're only having a bit of fun with you guys. We want to know your views on losing your most successful manager (i presume he is your most successful). Anyway you are the chairman so i suspect Niall will have to have gone through you to get to Big Sam? Maybe you can let us know the craic?
