Whilst I am undoubtedly happy with 9/10 with a severe hangower, I really should have gotten the blood question right...

Hot Dog commercial in the states. That's a tough one for a European to get.

how the heck can anyone do it and well in 30 seconds. Yes I'm taking about you blurred. I spend aout that time reading the questions let alone answering em and scrolling down. I reckon you've discovered
a way to pause it.

I agree. Blurred - You are fast becoming the bane of my life mate! I get 9 (thanks to a Lord of the Rings question of which I have zero interest) and think "oo 60 odd seconds not bad" Then see you've done it in 30. Feckin 30!!! Something fishy goin on if you ask me.

If I had learned how to pause it, wouldn't I go for a lower time than 30?! :D

And any of you are welcome to witness me taking part in this quiz at any time to see that there's no cheating going on whatsoever. :) And 30 for me is quick, usually accept a 40 something if there's one or two questions I need to read.

Edit - I'd also say that for the days when I'm at work it does help to have a mouse with a scroll wheel, something I don't have on my laptop at home. Even on that, though, I'd expect times under 60.

If I knew you were going to appear I would have left the quiz for you to do... But I didn't want another ticking off for not attending to your trivia needs!!!! Perhaps I'll leave you until later in the day and if you haven't been able to get to the t'interweb I'll do it for you. BTW your questions were really really hard today. I think 8 is a good score, considering. Especially as I won the thing for you yesterday!!!!!!!!! :P

Don't worry - if I appear it will be past your bed time except today when the motel has wireless in each room. I usually have to hit the road fast in the morning. About all I have time to do (with three kids) is to post a couple of remarks. Any the computer I'm using doesn't have a mouse so it would be impossible.

That you score so well if you only read 20% of the questions

I only read 20% of every question, hence the speed. Pick out the apposite words, check the answers, and if you notice a correlation between the two then it's job done. Occasionally with the random books/tv commercials/weird american shite you have to double check and so actually read the whole question - of which there's usually a couple in each quiz. Sometimes if they're all fairly straightforward I can get times like 30 secs, but it's usually in the 40s or so.
