i remember once the stadium announcer read out a congratulations to someone who had just had twins, baby Nathan & baby Blake, i remember thinking how cool that was! then he left not long after. thats the risk you take. you could always use david & Lee, or erm....Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Aye and one of 'em's called Nat, despite them both being girls.Gertie wrote:TWINS DS'B !!!

Yeah, the missus vetoed my plan to call the other girl Sam, probably wise as these things are as you say ephemeral, but Nat will always be a legend. And the club president isn't bad either!

Have you explained to her how she got her great name??
Haven't explained to her yet as Sir Nat isn't on the tellybox too often. She knows "Big Sam" and "Juicy", though I have to explain to her every time why he's allowed to touch it with his hands.
She also made me smile the other morning: i was catching up on some highlights over breakfast, and she said "Dad! Football! You need a beer!"
See, they do eventually have uses.
